Hey Tristan I sent you a message after using your .net tool. I thought you should call it "Great For .Net Browsing". Because it is.

But now I realize that that is a Q not a G. Doh! :red:

How about:
Quality Fast .Net Browsing

Or, for those in a very big hurry
Quick Fast .Net Browsing

No worries :)

------------

I've just uploaded the most recent LLLL.net list to GFNB.net. There are now 214,763 LLLL.nets available, bringing the total amount available to 47%

If only the reg. fee was $0.15 like .cn domains, lol! :)

Tristan, thanks to your GFNB site I was able to reg 3 remaining geo .NETs! Amazing. :lala:

Well, sort of...

Yezd.net - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yezd
Cuyp.net - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Cuyp_Market
Leix.net - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leix
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbeyleix

Plus these two cool names...

LXII.net - Super Bowl LXII !
Wyat.net - A family name, plus a TV station (WYAT TV40) in Martinsville Virginia

You know that Super Bowl site gave me an idea to look for in all types of available cryptic names. Roman numerals! So while I was at it I snagged the year I was born in...

LXIV.net - 64 in Roman numerals. Might make this my own personal site. :xf.love:

Thank you, Sir. Enjoy the new name for your great site and I'll enjoy my new finds. :kickass:

Thanks man. I was actually kind of surprised no one else bid and took it to auction. :D

I just don't get it.. why people willing to spend > $59 on snap or pool or namejet, but does not willing to spend that much on regular auction (like in here, or ebay, etc..).

I prefer fresh drops myself. But I will also buy on the forums if something sparks my interest.

I've wondered the same thing myself, many times.

Either they don't feel comfortable with forums or those sites market the names better or it's more conveinient for the buyers or something.. LOL I'm not sure but they sure are missing out by not visiting the forum markets.

Most people equate aftermarkets with quality but this does not necessarily hold true in all cases.
I've seen crappy 4L.nets going at $30-$60 at SnapNames whereas they would have only fetched $10 at best in forum auctions.

Obviously there are many LLLL.nets (and other names) bought up at the drop sites that aren't worth the final price, but on the other hand there are many opportunities available at those same places that wouldn't be possible here. You get many days of advance notice to get your name in for a great name, whereas here you either have to be lucky enough to come across a reasonable fixed-price sale at just the right time, or frequently deal with a 24- or 48-hr waiting period after your last bid to see if someone else puts in another bid after yours in an auction.

However, at the drop sites, there's a chance the domain will be yours right away for the base price, and even if you're up against other bidders in a drop auction, there's a good chance that many of them aren't going to be around in the final moments of the auction, so if you are, you can still get a deal.

Very good points dag. Rep added :)

I've started to put a 5 day max on all my forum auctions. It helps to expidite the auction and lets buyers know when it will be over. I say "Auction ends 48hrs after the final bid is posted or 5 days after the initinal bid was posted. Whichever comes first."

I like it -- more people should certainly start doing that.
