There's always an angle ... :lol:

Sometimes a reseller may see fit to reg the corresponding LLLL.net to protect against the possibility of end user taking that as an alternate to buying the LLLL.com

Also - speaking from perspective of an end-user - I usually like to have both the .net and the .com for domains I use - gives some options for organizing different functional areas without subdomains etc.

So - if an anti-premium LLLL.com is ever worth $100 and up, then the corresponding LLLL.net should come along for the ride.

As for the "rare fine art collector's item" angle ... that's fine if you're buying a few for your own amusement at reg fee, but probably not the most lucrative area to focus on right now. I mean, maybe, sure, whatever .....

And then there is the Chinese market and so on - a lot of variables involved there, but .net seems like a decent option.

But bottom line is probably that the reseller market is going to be looking at premiums first, and that's the "no brainer" move to make right now. Will see how triple-premium LLLL.net do now as they ride the coat-tails of the triple-premium LLLL.com ... If there's a "10% rule" for .net value compared to .com (big IF) then triple-premium LLLL.net may be worth just a bit above reg-fee now - so they may start getting picked up more quickly ....

anti-premium LLLL.com made sense to focus on because they were (maybe still are) so cheap compared to the rest. But with 200,000+ LLLL.net still all at reg-fee .... That doesn't really help the anti-premium LLLL.net stand out in any way right now, other than for the sake of sheer orneriness.

You will not find any LLLL.net domains available with three repeating letters..

Domains like AABA.net are being sold for like $25 and up

And domains like AAAB.net and BAAA.net are now being sold in the forums for $50 and up..

The only way to get them is from a reseller in a domain forum or via backorder...
