Who was regging such nonpremium names a year ago? tswq.net or cqbx.net for example. only 2 premium letters. Who knows was ther a project or something else?

I can understand people are grabbing them now when there is no premium .net left and no .coms at all available for regfee. But what was the case a year (a few years) ago. Ot there is a demand for nonpremium which we do not see?

are these names Quad Premiums?
If so, you should be able to get some takers at ebay or through the threads here.

If they aren't, you might have a hard time selling them at that price (unless something unique with the name).

IMO, if your looking to get that price for a non quad prem, i would just hold onto for a bit.

best of luck

Hey jh3,

Those are decent returns considering the 4 L .nets are in their infant stage so to speak, I think that banking your premiums is a good idea now, I will probably do the same after my ebay auctions end. It can only get better as time goes on.

Everytime I post a list I just double check it 1 hour later and... Most of the names are gone and not reported...

**Just a thought**

All are quad-premiums. Except a couple. The others are worth more than a quad premium by the quality of the name imo.

Hi jh3,

I wish there were some tricks, It is part luck and part promo, then hope for the best, I personally rarely start auctions at 99 cents, When I do it is usualy when there is 3 months left in a domain reg and I do not plan on renewing it.

Also, I list mainly when Ebay offers these 20 cent specials or someting like that. All and all I have sold around 250 domains on ebay and only a handful that I lost money on, I have also been suprised on a couple of occasions and made a decent profit. Check my feedback and you can see some of the most recent prices that were bid on some of my domains.

Will I get rich on Ebay, I highly doubt it. Unless I owned a domain like Dog.com or Cat.com.

I have also noted that I usually sell about 10-20% of my listings, For example right now I have about 100 or so auctions going and currently have bids on 13 of them.

It is always a learning experience but so far I have not done too bad. Try testing the waters with a couple of domains and may luck be with you.
