New Member Disclaimer: Four letter domain names are a relatively new investment category that is only beginning to gain traction in Dotcom. This domaining sector offers potentially larger returns than traditional revenue or traffic based domain names, however with this investment opportunity comes extravagant risk.

It was only a matter of time... First King Com. Then .CN fell. And now... I present to you LLLL.net :!:

This thread is designed to elicit discussion about LLLL.nets. You're encouraged to post anything you feel is relevant to LLLL.nets in this thread. This includes sales information, new regs, ...

I have no doubt quad premium LLLL.nets will appreciate in value... My only concern still is how fast.

I just crunched all the LLLL.com data over the last week and quad premium LLLL.coms are up 40% in the last week in example -- and most other flavors of LLLL.coms are up somewhere between 30 and 40% in that same time period... I cannot see LLLL.net maintaining that kind of an appreciation in value and that's what keeps me invested in LLLL.coms and not LLLL.nets...

I do think LLLL.nets are a good investment -- much better than leaving your money in your bank account or even buying LLL.coms, but I don't see them stacking up to LLLL.coms -- whether we compare past, present, or future.

We'll have to compare in a couple months and see who's made out better -- those who branched off into LLLL.nets or those who stuck with LLLL.coms.

I use Moniker it is a little cheaper than Dotster and probably a better registrar. I must have only ~30 llll.net though. I prefer llll.com at the moment.

I use Estdomains.com. The price on .net - 4,99$. For resellers - 4,89$. While problems with them was not.

My list is already a bit out of date! Just regged me another 50! :D

I forgot to mention if you have a GoDaddy account use this code: gdp0119d

It will take the .net's down to $6 each!

esdomains charge money when funding with PayPal , even if it`s funded balance which is not fair:

* For all PayPal transfers we have additional processing fee 2.90% + $0.30 for US accounts and 3.90% + $0.30 for non-US accounts.

Perhaps, I do not know about PayPal VS Estdomains :) I do not use PayPal, because I am from Ukraine. I always pay by WebMoney.

Thanks, I never heard about WebMoney but they still charge something with that too:

For all Webmoney transfers we have additional processing fee 0.80%.

Everyone knew it was going to happen, but noone knew when. And noone wanted to jump in with large orders. After it was clear that the buyout will be in February, everyone started the planned purchase in order not to miss it. However, looks like many people will miss it on Monday, we will see the final LLLL.nets ending this evening or tomorrow morning imho
