With the number of LLLL.com sales claiming to be pronounceable increasing day after the day. I thought it would be interesting to start a thread for people to post their LLLL.com names to be judged by others for pronounceability.

The idea is not to put names like dopo or qxyz. But to put questionable names. I'll started it off with mine.

Ytte.com

oxju.com
vluf.com
zrua.com

NameTrader.com:

I'm loving

Ekeo.com
Icia.com
Xoru.com (my favorite)

Stillgreen:

Teet.com does rock! 4 letter word :tu:

Stoneroses:

I like Ublu.com

tm:

I think they are both fairly pronouncable,

Jikz is more obvious, but Jixz would be "Jizz"

It looks like people may not agree if it is pronounceable or not. Does this
mean people with different culture or different language background? Is it
possible for two American English Native speaker to have different opinion?

at least one native american english speaker says the following are pronounceable:
Oryd.com pronounced as (orid).
Ovyd.com pronounced as (ov-id).
Ryqu.com pronounced as (ry-ku).
eyQe.com pronounced as (ikee).
Quky.com pronounced as (kwuh-kee)
Qafy.com pronounced as (ka-fee)

These are possible pronounceable:
GUQs.com pronounced as (gucks)
Zoqs.com pronounced as (Zocks)
Qoum.com pronounced as(koom)
Dolq.com pronounced as (dolk).
Jolq.com pronounced as (Joke).
iorq.com pronounced as (io-k).

So I think if you rate the domains, you should disclaim the language origin of your
opinion. This way we can predicate the popularity of the name from the limited
sampling.

I guess mine are pretty easy to figure out:

Ekeo.com (e-KEE-o or E-kee-o)
Icia.com (i-SEE-a, or "I see ya")
RxNM.com (not pronouceable, but short for "prescriptions New Mexico")
Xoru.com (ZO-ru)

Ekeo is the Best
Icia is pronoucable but it would give some ppl trouble
Xoru same as Icia.

It's possible. There are many dialects/accents in English and ppl would judge the ability to pronounce things on how they perceive it. "SLUD" would be pronounced like mud to most ppl but "GYTE" could be "Gight," "Geet," and even "Gate" to some ppl. And of course the hard G/soft G debate would be open. I don't think it's the same everywhere. But the grammatically structured domains are sure deals. Like my VOAL.NET -- Surely most ppl can pronounce it.

I think it's probably more a question of owning or not owning the LLLL.com.
ie. domains owned by 'others' are not pronouncable, and domains owned by oneself are pronouncable. I think owning a domain colour's a person's judgement. This would explain some of the wild leaps of imagination (or faith) that some hopefuls on NP ask of us.

Before they might have seen 4 random letters, but then owning said LLLL.com, they see it in a new light. :)

(I'm guilty of it too. :D)

Archangel,
I agree with you about the grammatically structured ones.

Halobitt,
You are telling the truth. I have similar feeling before while watching
people promoting their own, but never had the courage to say it here.

Of course, I am guilty as well.

If you agree that my names Dolq.com and Jolq.com are structurally pronounceable,
then yours will be aslo pronounceable.

X is commonly pronounced as --KS while Q is commonly pronounced as --K. So yes, your 2 are pronounceable IMO :)
