DOTCN (a true Chinese Domainer) has posted this in another thread......and I think it`s the best I can show to the most stubborn naysayers, no other comments from me in this thread, enjoy:

Finally, I finished reading the whole thread :)

Here are the 10 LLLL com you list here in this thread as the worst LLLL examples:
xjdq
xkwq
ZXQX
QKZZ
ZXWQ
zqqz
ZQXJ
ZQQK
ZQXK
YJXZ

and do you know how many end-users are using these LLLL's?

I have just checked them on .cn, .com.cn, .com and .net, and here are the end-user sites:
http://www.qkzz.cn/
http://www.yjxz.cn/
http://www.xjdq.com.cn/
http://qkzz.net/
http://www.zqxj.net/
http://www.zqxj.com/

Do you still think these LLLL are useless?

i am not worried with naysayers; i am watching and understanding what market says everyday
actually naysayers make me laugh but i really try to bring them to reality!

Likely that these folks listed acquired these domains for "Reg. fee" earlier on ... ? :|

The list of those websites is good, though ... whether the respective owners (or other End users) would be willing to pay a :$: premium - in the current aftermarket - for these and other LLLL .com's is still a legitimate question, in my view. Much of the LLLL discussion, it seems, is domainer-centric and speculative at this time, in my view.

PS. I hope that more and more End users start to acquire LLLL's for (for a :$: premium) their needs, and there can be a lot to learn from those with opposing views, IMHO. :music:

Best of Luck.

...out of 456,976 possible LLLL.com.

But I do agree that there isn't enough attention placed on the fact that the Chinese value our non-valuable letters.

Good examples. :tu:

the most important thing regarding domaining isnt said many times in DN forums

it is the power of internet, i mean how fast it spreads throughout the world
the main language we use in business when we have people from many places is english and it will be for a long time but we have to keep in mind people are here doing business in a "worldwide basis" also do business locally and, of course, what is good in english is not necessarily good in other languages (see DotCN's example quoted by italiandragon)

we have to see internet when doing business like world citzens (every market has their needs and will search for thier right product) and not as we were (are) brazilian, american, italian, chinese, etc
an important thing can improve our earnings is know a little bit of what other cultures think, behave and how they do business

no, the examples were referring to a list of 10 randomly listed LLLL.com as the worst ones from an English/American point of view and out of 10 , AT LEAST 6 were found to be valuable for Chinese people.

:)

These 10 LLLL were listed as the worst LLLL by several people in another very long thread. They said these LLLL's would never be used by End-users. But I knew they were premium LLLL at least for Chinese. So I checked them on the .cn, .com.cn, .net, .com and got this result :)

If you want, you may give more "worst LLLL" examples, and let's check them again :yell:

It's very clear that XYZQJKW are premium for China and there are end-users there. But the question is that are they ready to pay at least 2 times more over reseller prices for LLLL.com domains. This is not a statement. I ask you DotCN because you are aware about Chinese market.

I little naysaying is good IMO. Keeps us level headed and in balance. Not everyone can get on the same train, it would be way to crowded and people would suffer.

I'm glad I bought my ticket a while back and if it weren't for the naysayers I probably wouldn't have had as nice of a seat.

More and more Chinese begin purchasing domains for their companies. As you know, I have more then 10,000 LLLL.cn's , more than 10,000 LLLL.com.cn's and about 1,000 LLLL.com's. All of my domains are redirected to a "domain for sale page" ( www.drname.cn ). The minimum offer for any of my CN domain is RMB 800($115), and the minimum offer for my LLLL.com is RMB 2,000($280), and the BIN price are RMB6,000 and RMB12,000. here is the Price page: www.drname.cn/price.html. And I have sold many of my domains, here they are: www.drname.cn/sold.html. Many of them were sold for RMB 1,000-3,000.

Unfortuately, most of the domains I have sold are CN domains :( I think the main reason is that I have many many more CN domains than COM domains :hehe: The another reason that very few COM domain were sold is that my asking price for any of my LLLL.com is a little bit high ( usually at least 5,000RMB).

I did a research last year about how many premium LLLL.cn(With no AEIOUV) were registered by end-users. I check whois infomation of 16,000 premium LLLL.cn. I found that at least 40% of them were registered by end-users. Since then, I began to select and register lots of LLLL.cn and LLLL.com.cn. As you know, all LLLL.cn and LLLL.com.cn were sold out early this year :yell:

Well, you have to know, CN domain is very cheap for the first year. It cost only 1RMB ($0.15) :hehe: do NOT tell others please :yell:

Yes, so that we could purchase more at very cheap prices

It is quite likely that the naysayers are now just a 5th column of agents paid by ItalianDragon to shake out some noob stock for his greedy mitts. Somebody should stop him!
