Does anyone have a list of most valuable LLL combinations? …regardless of extension.

most valuable LLL combinations?

There's 17,576 3-letter combinations

Define most valuable?

A. Registered in the most TLDs?

B. Reported 3L sales, price sorted from high to low?

C. Reported 3L sales, quantity of TLDs sold sorted from high to low?

D. WHOIS year, bulk whois all 17,576 combinations in desired TLD, then sort from earliest WHOIS year?

E. Sorted by most commonly used 3L words/acronyms?

Any extension is arguable, but say legacy like com or org, good new gTLD, some ccTLDs, or a Handshake TLD:

1) is a word
2) triple-character repeaters
3) pronounceable non-word
4) known acronyms/numbers

@ZOX That's not what @Kyle Tully means.

What research have you done already, if I may ask?

Lol, Biggie you’re awesome! 😎

I did sell SDX.com (close to sex) for good money ;)

I suspect Chinese premium letters matter, but have not researched it in detail.
Of course, as others mentioned, 3L that are also a word are a step above others, in general.
It is an interesting topic. Maybe I will do a detailed analysis for the NamePros Blog some week.

Couldn’t agree more. One syllable, 3 letter, real word .com are the best.

Just look at the sale of TP. 2 syllables, not a word, also doesn’t pass the radio test. Is it TP or tipi, tepee, or something else?

Now try Sal. No confusion and much easier and faster to pronounce.

You could try LLL.com Market Overview - ShortNames

I'd be interested in this analysis.

btw - are there any letters (in any position) that are avoided (or worth less) when buying 3L? Q, J, X, for example? others? Or does it not matter?

This is not a full answer to your question, but this superb guide by @BrandPlease has information on letters and patterns.

I did already do letter analyses for 3L .org and .net – here is one of those articles:

This recent article (just past midway in the section on letter patterns) covers the Western and Chinese premium letters, and how to search sales in NameBio for either, or for letters that cover both set of premiums.

https://www.namepros.com/blog/finding-domain-name-comparator-sales-part-2.1327701/

But just Western or Asian misses the importance certain letters have in terms of potential meanings, especially in trailing. For example C could mean company, collaboration, cooperative, creatives, consortium, and many other things that work well as a trailing letter.

But it all varies with time. For example X has increased in interest of late as a trailing letter (I am pretty sure, have not crunched the numbers).
