You are correct, there are still quite many LLL.ca names available but most of the best combos have been gone for a long time

From my own research there are still some decent ones left. But there is also a lot of garbage of course.
Honestly I am not fan of names like qkz.ca (or .us for that matter). If you reg names like these whatever the TLD you are a bit too late to the game I think.
IMO it's a good idea to register nice LLL.ca and wait. There have been some sales but it seems to me that the .ca market is not that hot... yet.
I believe the .ca TLD has yet to mature and catch up with other TLDs like .co.uk or .de. Saying that, I share your analysis. Canada is a large country with a tech-savvy population and developed market.
Another point is that .ca is more accepted locally than .us in the States for instance. I believe .ca has a bright future ahead. BTW it's not that expensive. I think it makes sense to have a few in your portfolio but don't look for a fast sale. I would expect to wait for 2-3 years.
Many decent names are still available under .ca and not just LLL names.
To answer your question I would expect LLL.ca names to sell somewhere in the low-mid $$$ range. It's hard to say as this would depend on the quality of the letters/combo.
If you would post your names for appraisal possibly you would get a more accurate view of what your names may be worth :]
