LLL.ca values?

I was looking at Namebio, but they didnt have that many results to make a generalized idea of the LLL.ca values.

I'm currently bidding on a CVC.ca thats pronounceable and has repeating first and last letters (all 3 letters are premium), but wasn't sure how high to bid since I'm completely new to .ca names.

So whats the value of premium repeating letter CVC.ca names? Anybody has any idea?

I don't really follow .ca, but aren't there still LLL.ca which are available to reg?

edit: You're referring to something like SAS.ca in example?

Yeah, SAS.ca is pretty much in the same ballpark

Though it doesn't have that many Google results (just over 1.5 mil) , it does have 3 wikipedia entries

Thanks Reece. I'll be careful of that. I don't mind losing the name, just wouldn't like it to go away at a price I could pay.

Don't overpay at this point. There are plenty of LLL.ca's left. Canadians seem reluctant to buy them all out for the purpose of investment. But with that said, hardly any go through the tbr without being snatched up, and there are those like me who are developing LLL.ca's with an eye to the future. So if it has good acronym meanings, can be used as a fun 'word' like fup or zup (both mine) then go for it! ;)

That is true but all the good letters are gone.
SAS is a very good one. I would pay $300 or even $500 easily.
But I don't know if the .ca aftermarket is vibrant.

Its a pretty fun word with a very good 'ring' to it. I think I will get it (must have atleast 1 .ca in my portfolio...)

how about the restrictions to reg a .ca without risking to lose it?

Yes I would make sure you qualify. You can check cira's guidelines here --> (cira.ca) before purchasing the domain. But if you are a Canadian citizen or hold ties to a business in Canada then there should be no issues.

Any idea what are the current min prices for LLL.ca and NNN.ca?

It's not the same. Anybody can reg a .de but you need a local admin-c contact. Same goes for .nl .lu etc
On the other hand to reg a .ca you have to be a Canadian resident/entity or Canadian national.
Now you can always find someone to hold the name on your behalf but legally you won't be the owner. Choose your partners carefully especially if it's a valuable name ;)

I prefer .co.uk , plus is safer, CIRA is a pain a DO CHECKS contact details.

I regged one nice LLL.ca , guess what? They spotted it and I lost it. It was 2006
