I believe if these domains would have been auctioned when .EU just became available, they would have went for much-much more.

There were some determined bidders in this auction who would pay any price. Looking at these prices it is easy to think, for example, 'I could have got 41.eu for 1300 euros'. The winner of this auction would simply have outbid you each time until the price seemed crazy, so you still would not have got the name.

Crikey, if I'd known about these I'd have thought abt getting in on it- haven't spent much time at pool recently, thought they were going downhill after they repeatedly fail to secure even one of the hundreds of names I place on backorder with them.
