.TV Premium Auction - starts April 1st 2010!

This is a .TV Premium Auction "WITHOUT" the Premium!!!

The auction starts on: Apr/01/10 06:00 PM CET

There will never again be a time with more potential .tv buyers all in one place ready to buy some killer .tv domains. These Premiums that Enom has released to Sedo without the Premium renewal pricing will definitely be the exposure .tv has truly needed.

It won't just be us (the NP .tv Forum) at the Sedo auction throughout the week.
It will be the whole World of .tv investors, developers, producers, videographers, etc.
They will all be at Sedo during the week of Apr. 1st to the 8th looking for their .tv domain.

So,
I am creating a thread of our available .tv's that we would send to auction and our auction starting bid price e.g.: GoCart.tv/$200...and then send them to auction right around the same time Apr. 1st 6:00 PM CET so that we would have an entire week of more views on our .tv's in auction then at any other time during the year. We would be riding the coattails of Enom/Sedo and using their power of advertising to get that one more potential buyer.
AND believe me, This WILL be advertised.
By tomorrow the details of this once in a lifetime .TV Premium Auction will be on every Domaining Blog on the internet!

I will start with one off the top of my head and will go thru my portfolio and add more to the list later.

GoCart.tv (about 50 uniques already this month and almost $3.00 in clicks already)
Start Bid - $150.
This is not a Premium domain (regular renewal price )
I would like the auction to kick off (your bid to be placed) at about the same time as the Travel auction starts, Apr. 1st 6:00 PM CET

I'm not saying that I could get Sedo to run these in any special auction.
I wish I had that power of influence, lol.

I am saying that we should,

List our .tv domains that we would like to send to Sedo auction.
We should all collectively look at each others domains and if we like any of each others then if so, put a bid on it at around the same time as the .TV Premium auction starts.
So you will only get IN the auction if someone wants to purchase and would put a bid on one of your .tv domains.
At that same time, there will be more people tuning into The .tv Premium auction then we have ever had at a .tv auction before.
.TV fever and hype will be in the air.
Some of these .TV's are incredible and will sell very very high. Most might even become realistically unobtainable for me at least, lol

So, as more people are tuning into Sedo, perusing the .tv auction I am sure a lot of them will also search what is currently on auction at Sedo.
Just my 2 cents

But all I can say is there will never be more interested .tv domain buyers ever in one location at the same time, ya know?

So, It's not a definite auction for your domain, It is just a potential larger Showcase/Spotlight then we have EVER had before.

But I think the best approach would be a thread where you agree to bid on someone's name if they agreed to bid on one of your names.

Naturally you should have some intent to want the name but Sedo may still smell something funny if a bunch of names go up at the same time as the auction (e.g. un-genuine bids)

That is how unpaid auctions happen which happen all to frequently over at Sedo.

The point here is this is the best time with the most views we will ever have.
No favors, just bid on a .tv if you would like to purchase it.

Would it be crazy to ask SEDO if .TV domainers could submit .TV domains with modest reserves / non-premium renewals in a separate auction? Having to get bidders within the forum puts the registrant in the position of either selling very low or not participating at all due to no initial bid.

I don't think they will be low priced auctions.
If our .tv domain is truly worth $$$, then it should fetch it's true potential value with all of the eyes and wallets watching Sedo during that .TV auction week.

What is imperative is complete integrity in the process, i.e., NO SHILLS!

This is going to be quite a testing grounds and win, lose or draw we have to know where the extension stands. keep it honest and we all win!

It is becoming complicated.

I guess I wanted an all encompassing type of .TV portfolio display.
Both ideas can work.

We post our portfolio's, then if any 2 of us agree on making an offer and following thru if we win,
Well it's win-win.
or
If it is only 1 sided, then they will honor placing that bid around the start time.

I see what you are saying about buying on Sedo as opposed to here.
I guess the answer to your question is,
It is all about exposure, more buyers, bids, money, etc.

I am really hoping this can work for most of us here.
That attention over at Sedo during this auction could be HUGE.
