I'm guessing that those little issues in life like Trademark infringement, cybersquatting and just plain giving all the rest of us domainers a bad reputation don't concern you.

You're exactly what wrong with this business :td:

Pond Scum with a credit card

I think the name calling is a tad much.

Matt, you should maybe learn a little more about this business before you register any more domains...

He registers Tm's. I'm old and crotchety. We all have our weaknesses :hehe:

Thing is....I know about all that stuff, and I really don't care. I've had my share of people making threats and such with trademarks and I've had lawsuit letters in the mail but in the end I outtalk them.

I just want to know a little bit what these are worth. THanks.

First of all, pre-registering .asia domain names doesn't guarantee you'll get those names. Second, almost all of them have trademark issues, hence worth nothing.

Guys like you are bringing unwarranted attention on us as an industry and that is costing companies like ours thousands of $$$$ top defend TM issues (perceived or actual) and further thousands to hire lawyers and lobbyists to keep the industry from being steamrollered by restrictive or confiscatory laws.

You don't care about the people here but please will we help you. Do you know the meaning of chutzpah :td:

chutzpah

1892, from Yiddish khutspe "impudence, gall" from Heb. hutspah. The classic definition is that given by Leo Rosten: "that quality enshrined in a man who, having killed his mother and father, throws himself on the mercy of the court because he is an orphan."

I think the Tm problems would negate any value of the names especially being microsoft might sue any buyer for 100k plus legal expenses

Sorry but I really don't know why people come up with sueing and all that. Sure maybe if u were to like put microsoft stuff on the website and all that but its just a domain name. Worst case scenario is that your forced to give them the domain and they pay u the purchase price. You can't get sued for going on a website and buying something........If you want to think of it that way.

Wow....... I put the value of most of these at $ -xxxxxxx when the TM wins the lawsuit

I don't want to hurt you. But TM is the big problem.
It will make the value of domain = "0"

I'm afraid you are mistaken.

-100K per TM domain.

You have absolutely no clue :(

Its one thing to have people think you're stupid.

It's another to open your mouth and confirm it.
