I realize many of the words in the five-letter bin at wordbins.com look like gibberish. The words at wordbins.com are actual words encountered in publicly available data sources. But most such five-letter words have already been registered, so many of the remaining five-letter words are abbreviations, which may appear like gibberish at first glance.
That's the case for the words in all the bins at wordbins.com. You may not immediately recognize them, but if you search for them you'll find that pretty much all of them are a real thing. So instead of words that look real but aren't, the words at wordbins.com are real words but may not always look like it.
Also, it's a work in progress, especially what I call my "junk filters". I actually encounter LOTS more words, but I would consider most of them junk. I'm a little more permissive of five letter words since they are valuable, so they may be a little more "junky" than the 6-12 letter words.
