There are hundreds of domain names bought and sold on NamePros marketplace every month, from one investor to another.
While some liquidate their domain name to get $$ or $$$, some other look for hidden gems.
There are many stories of people acquiring names here on NamePros for $$$ and end up selling it for $$,$$$ in some time.

Do you have any such story where you bought some domain name here on NamePros and ended up reaping some good returns on them?

Would be interesting to see the names, acquisition price, and the sale price, for the names you bought here and then ended up getting some decent returns on them.

(If you are under NDA, you can share the purchase and sale price of the names, just to give an idea of the returns)

    Inputs?
Earlier there used to be a lot of posts regarding some members picking up domains here on NP for low $$$ and selling them for $$,$$$ within 6 months or a year.
There used to be a lot of such stories. And so, I thought to check out the success rate, returns generated, etc. if those members are willing to share anything about their experiences.

Under NDA, you can't disclose price I think.

I have one here though not very high sell or high return.

9Q4.com bought for $160 approx and sold to $500 to an investor privately.

In what way was this sale life changing?

I gave an example where I bought from Namepros, which i sold for more than 3 times.

I also mentioned it is not a very high sell or high return.

    Not life changing.

    I hope it clears now.

Bought Novelized.com for $40 here on NamePros, it later sold as a premium domain on GoDaddy for $1,600 which gave me a nice profit.

I like your idea. However, to make this thread more attractive, why not make it for people to share their life changing domain acquisition and sale outside of NP as well?

    Your thread, your call.

The title of this thread is
"Life changing namePros domain acquisitions & sale".
I hope you realize your mistake now.

    Don't want to fight Jacoby.

It came when I was in very urgent need of money.

So in this sense it is life changing for me.

    Holding time?
This is fine, I believe. If you have a decent profit and minimum sale value of $500 or more, should do.

Excellent idea. I wish to keep this thread for NamePros acquisition only. As some people say, there is gem to be found in the acquisition here.
However, I have created a separate thread for overall acquisitions and sales.

Holding time was maybe 6 months to a year, I just set it up on GoDaddy and completely forget it until my phone beeped and said +$1200 PayPal (GD took about $400 in fees)

If you disclose price and skip the name, then it is fine too. Unless it gets spammy.
