Hi guys,
My new site is just about to be signed off on. Im pretty happy with the job my coders did but I hired them mostly for their backend abilities.

Im looking for some opinion on the design and layout of the site.

www.lessonlistings.com

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks
Ryan

I think it's quite good overall, points I would look at improving:

"lessonlisting" gif looks quite poor quality ( all fuzzy squiggly around the outside of the letters - really stands out next to the crisp violin image) - also I would make it clickable to return to the homepage.

the center content boxes look a bit jumbled:
- whats with the light pink (is it?) background
- the rounded corners on the white box appear to have little grey corners showing
- i'm not sure the flat green of the right hand box goes with the smooth gradient green of the main background.
- i think the square corners of the pinkish background poking out over the tops of the rounded content boxes ruins the corner effect a little.

I'd think about scrapping the pinky background, and perhaps matching the right hand green with the gradient green a bit closer.

one small thing is that some turquoise seems to have crept in:
- I'd drop the back slashes between the footer links - unnecessary
- I'd make the article paging links the same brown as the other links.

Great suggestions, especially about the right hnd box. I went ahead and changed it to a green from the header and I think it definitely looks better.

Keep em comin guys!

Thanks again
