Picked this up recently after the legalisation of marijuana in a lot of US states.

As you can tell by the ccTLD and spelling of "legalise", it's 100% aimed at the UK market. I personally feel it could be a strong domain if the UK gets on board with what America are doing, but I'm looking for your opinions too.

LegalizeWeed (co.uk) is in my opinion very nice domain with clear and strong message. Unlike Legalize Marijuana / Cannabis this domain seems to be more focused on attracting end users (of weed) due to language used IMHO. Taking this in to consideration I think skilled person could use potential traffic to sell or advertise weed related merchandise hence make some (decent) income. In such case the value of the domain for buyer could be significantly higher than £100 offered. But of course all depends on how soon and how strong the movement for legalization will be and / or what is the idea of the buyer.

What are the "green laws" like there? Just curious. Im definitely not an appraiaser, so i wont, but that, and the direction its going would be the only way to put value on this. If its a big issue, its probably worth a lot. If not, it might be worth 2 pickles on a Big Mac.

domainlore deal with .co.uk domains only - why not try an auction with them. Ask the seller to put the 100 quid on that site and see who else bids and if no one does you have your answer.

Not as advanced as the USA yet unfortunately.
It's still ilegal here and a few years back it was raised back up to a Class B drug from a Class C. There's always talk of legalisation though.

Its kind of a tough one then. I like the idea of the "$150 + work for you". You would be profiting I'd imagine, plus you would get paid for your work, plus you would open up the door for more work in the future for this buyer or from referrals from this buyer as long as your work is good. I'm not sure what type of work you are talking about, but I'd imagine it would be great for a resume. Look at it from every possible angle, and then what those angles could lead to.

Been seeing a lot of legalisation stuff going on over here lately so think I'm going to hold on for a little while until I see a potential enduser for the domain.

Still no idea on an asking price.

Two things to consider:

• When and if weed is legalized, what's the domain worth then ? A good domain should be future-proof
• How to use that domain in the meantime ? To me it's an 'advocacy' domain that is deprived of business potential - it is neutered by the legal framework.
