.mobi Legal .mobi's any potential in the legal world?

Hi all, regged most of these ages ago, just wondering what are your thought's on legal .mobies and what do you think of the domains i've listed below.

Personally I thought legal .mobies could be a winning idea, since most of the time when your hot headed and after an car accident say, or maybe wrongful dismissal at work etc etc the first thing you'd want is an quick and convenient way to contact a solicitor/lawyer and get the details passed over while they are fresh in your mind. Whats your views or am i trying to flog a dead horse???

Never underestimate a Laywer or thier money that they possibly can have . Just look on the yellow pages. IMHO they will pay the money to get their name out their. Great names by the way, I wished I reged more lawyer terms back then, but right now I just have Liable.mobi, it was a late reg too.

Not quite legal but closely related, I think bail bonds could have a nice future in mobile internet. Imagine a perp sitting in the station, wondering how the heck he will get out. Pull out the cell phone and search for a bail bonds place in your city. Same perp could be searching for an attorney too. Having never been arrested, I'm assuming the perp is able to use the cell phone.

It got an offer for $200 on Afternic, an offer for $100 on TDNAM.

I think the legal .mobis should go well

Cheers all i do like the other one mentioned legit.mobi and i think $200 is an insult! LOL Its a great name frank view2008 best of luck with it, not that you'll need it IMHO! LOL Forgot to mention Liable.mobi is a good one too!!! :red:

Awhile back I got ARRESTED.MOBI

A person or their friend could use it to call a Bail Bondsman or Attorney. A directory for each city could be made with paid listings.

Lawyers spend a lot on advertising. :D

Can anyone come up with a ballpark figure for my entire legal .mobi portfolio at the moment? I may start approaching some big legal firms to test the water!

just regged adjudicate.mobi could be of use to a specialist legal team in construction law or similar.

You may have to wait until the legal market begins to become more aware of .mobi. Try selling .mobi to a non-domainer lawyer right now and you'll have to spend the first 5 minutes just explaining what the hell it is.

I've had, and refused, offers on TopLawyer.mobi up to $500. Since that person was also interested in TopSportBook.mobi, I'm guessing they were a speculator and not an attorney.

My view is that since some law firms routinely spend many thousands of dollars a year on yellow pages and other ads, they'll eventually be willing to invest in a .mobi name to feature in their other advertising. How many of us have been sitting on a subway or bus, looked up, and seen an ad for a lawyer? They love the catchy 800 numbers and domains because they know their customer base often need them in a big hurry.

I'd wait. Right now your appraisals will likely be coming from we domainers, not lawyers, and will probably (correctly) be pretty low.
