I hate to be unkind even knowing that sometimes it may be necessary.

Many of the recent posts to this thread are just that, unkind, but I can not find reason with any of them to dispute their appropriateness.

I sure hope that you are not old enough to drive, that would make me very cautious the next time I’m in traffic.

The right thing to do, would be to tell them the problem, and if you found the problem due to skill rather than luck, offer a resume to get hired as a programmer, bug checker, or something of use to them. Blackmail is going down the wrong track and will likely come back to bite you in the A**. In the long run, you'll rarely go wrong by taking the high road.

I'm glad to see most others here do have morals, even if it sounds like an attack on those who may seem not to. That's one of the reasons I really like this forum over some others.

LOL - That was probably not meant to be funny, but I can't help but laugh.

Anyway, you know the right thing to do. Whether you choose to do it... is another thing, and one that ultimately shows your character. Of course, after reading the statement about their 350K offer, your 2-3 million dollar request and winning the lottery, this whole story may be more fictional than the Saturday morning cartoons currently playing in the background.
