Leaving Soon...

I've been gradually getting out of domains as a form of speculation.. from over 150 domains, I now have less than a dozen and of those, I'll most likely only keep 3-4.

In any case, I expect to be moving soon. My present girlfriend and I are splitting up after 3 years.. the house is in her name so I'm elected to move.

At this point, it could be a few weeks, or a couple months until I relocate, but I most likely won't have access to the internet initially at least so I expect to be offline awhile.

I'm not saying goodbye yet, as I'll be around at least a couple more weeks.. but just giving a heads up. I'll keep you all posted...

You're telling me.. it more or less came out of the blue.. as you all know, we just got back from vacation and two weeks later she's wanting me out.. lol! We've never even had an argument before.. she says she just needs a change in her life.. personally, I think she's going thru the "change"

In any case, I've been trying for three weeks to get her to change her mind and try and work things out with no luck.. it's still amicable, she just wants her "space".

And here I thought I'd found someone to spend my life with.. at 52, it's hard to start over.. again! Thanks for your concern!

Its always hard to get over a relationship that has lasted that long!

your in my prayers!! Thats probally really hard for you... its probally the change, my mom told my dad the same thing when she went through the "change"... there still together though, just prayer and hope for the best is all i can say! Your such a nice guy...

Good luck to you and i hope all works out! I know how hard it is to lose someone, I've been with my girl for a year and like 4 months and i could not imagine parting from her. Hopefully everything gets resolved and I wish you the best.

I'm very sorry to hear that Dave as you're a great guy and member here, you don't deserve what she's done to you.

I hope that she will wise up and you both can stay together, as a 3 year relationship is a long time to just throw away like that. Did you both try to go and talk to a counselor? Maybe that would help her if she'd get her issues out in the open whatever is bothering her.

Whatever happens, I wish you the very best and much happiness Dave. You're a great member here and are always willing to help fellow members out in anyway that you can. You're a tremendous asset here and the community won't be the same with you gone. Hope you can get everything worked out and will be back sooner than you anticipate...as you'll be greatly missed by all.
