Leaving GoDaddy

In the next four of five months, my domains are all up for renewal. I was with Yahoo Domains for years, then moved to GoDaddy when Yahoo raised their rates.
GoDaddy has been fine overall, but their control panel is too cluttered and their ads are just too tacky.
I am thinking about moving to another, so I would like some suggestions.
All I need is masked forwarding and forwarded email addresses. GoDaddy offers 100 forwarding addresses per each domain you own. That is kind of nice and fun to play with.
I want something easy, clean, decent customer service (email service is fine), and around ten dollars per year for each .com
I have been looking at name.com and namecheap.com but am open to suggestions.

Dynadot.com is my favorite. They cost $9.25/year per .COM domain and their interface is the epitome of anti-clutter.

Enom Reseller @ $8.95/per ... I moved away from GoDaddy years ago due to their extremely cumbersome "free & easy push" system! :imho:

My Recommendations:

Name.com
MyDomain.com
Moniker

Dynadot.com is my favorite. They cost $9.25/year per .COM domain and their interface is the epitome of anti-clutter.

I believe you can get it down to $7.50/year if you prepay your account balance with $500

At Namecheap.com they give email forwarding, but how many accounts per dotcom?
dynadot.com gives 10 email forwarding accounts per each dotcom

I kind of like those two since they offer PayPal as a payment option.

I would vote namecheap as well. I tend to use Fabulous.com myself, but they are limited on what extensions they support.

To answer your question about forwarding, it looks like 5 per domain @namecheap (anyone who uses namecheap more than I do, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :red: ).

I think we all know Godaddy isn't in the top 10.
They go super cheap and then try to get money out of you the entire time you are there.
If you like their services and can put up with all the selling they try then great.

Which registrar renew .com is cheapest than $7.39 + $0.20 ICANN?

Moniker
eNom If you can get a reseller account (the best control panel)
name.com seems to be the 3rd best from what I see.

Get out of GD as soon as you can.

Godaddy is too cluttered and slow ... anybody else experience slooooooow

dns/forwarding changes that benefit their parked ads pages ? I believe

I lost hundreds of dollars because of this :|

star.registerbird.com offers low rates and free whois privacy, they do good sales from time to time too, and is owned by an active NP member snowbird.

If you are not satisfied with GoDaddy you can try NameCheap as an alternative.

How is Namecheap hosting ? 100GB space and 1000GB transfer for 6.95$ looks like a bargain.

It even gets a little cheaper if you spend over $5,000. :)
