Hello NamePros Members -

My name is Todd and I am the Executive Director of LeadRefs.com. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in a free month trial of the lead generation service? I have five free one month trials I can give out. I would love to get some feedback of what the regular domainer likes/dislikes about the product. I really value the opinion of fellow domainers and have an open mind.

For those that have never heard of LeadRefs.com, let me briefly sum it up. We offer a lead generation service that connects domain owners with potential buyers for their domains. We recently have also started to offer an Expired Package that lists all the top domains with the most leads daily from the Pending Delete list, GoDaddy, NameJet and SnapNames Exclusive Pre-Release lists.

I really think we have a service that is benefiting the domainer and the end-user as a whole. Getting domainers a return on their investment while also pairing the domains with end users who will maximize the value of the domain.

So if any of you are interested in that free trial, just send me a private message and I will have it all setup.

For further reading, we have been featured in some domain blogs that you can check out:

Go to the site & test it out. lol You needn't a paid account to test a few domains

NP.

I know they are crappy. I would be willing to test your system to see if it can generate leads that result in sales for crappy names. Would be GREAT publicity for you if it can. Let me know if you are interested. :P

No, but I do need 30 days. I'm that slow.:p
And I have more than "a few" crappy domains.:red:

Shoot me a list via PM. I'll check them when I have credits avail. I don't plan to use LR for a day or 2 anyway. Got a lot to get outta my way. (Hopefully no one would mind me doing this :p )

Just an update -

You can download the list of leads/emails in a .CSV file by clicking the "Download The List" button after a search has performed. As always you can still have the search results emailed to you as well (along with a .CSV file).

Does that mean from the leads you got did you get ANY response from a NO to a maybe to a yes?

I have received a few responses with most being not interested in the domain and others that never reply the second time once I give them a very fair price. It may be that I just don't have the right names and/or people are not buying as much right now. Either way I think it is a good tool to use to save a lot of time and potentially make a lot of money, but just have to evaluate it a little more to see if it's the right fit for me.

I've used it to get a load of leads. I have yet to email anyone but I plan to ready things up for this Monday. I'll post a few things here once I have some data to share.

I just try once for my first domain name, and i get notification that i have used 2 searches today but the fact is one, also the loading bar stuck in 30%.

This is a problem or just normal to someone who not yet signup?
Thank you

@silverine - We give you three free searches a day. The message you were seeing was letting you know that you had 2 free searches left, since you had just used your first.

Depending on the name you were searching some results can take awhile to display. If you give me the name you searched I can look into it further for you.

JB - You can just email [email protected] with your user name and that you wish to downgrade or cancel your subscription. It will be no problem. If there is an issue my personal email is [email protected] and I will take care of it.

Thinking about it more, why not offer a 1 month option, no rebill, no having to cancel. Pay for 1 month and it's done. If you want another month, pay again. Using Drop Day as an example:

1 Month Only(No Automatic Renewal)

http://www.dropday.com/index.asp?Page_Name=Subscription_Prices

I think you would get more people using/trying it out with that option, less hassle. Some people have had a bad experience with rebill type of stuff.

I personally have stopped signing up with any company that has an Automatic billing feature.
I prefer to do it manually.
Send me an invoice and if I want to continue I will send a payment through paypal.
If I dont want to continue I wont send a payment.

I did the three day trial. I found a lot of potential buyers. I didn't really have a lot of time to really dig in to it. But the leads are defiantly there.

I did make a positive contact, We are trying to work a deal on a name, I will post rather the deal goes through, Or, falls by the way side. But either way, The contact is a serious potential buyer.

BTW LeadRefs, I sent you a beauty to broker "acure.org" , I got a return email saying you need to do more research on the name, That about a week ago, any progress or ???

If i had any experience dealing with non profit orgs i would be in better shape, I have just never contacted, negotiated with non profit orgs, So acure.org gets into good hands, I am going to have to get it brokered out.

Trying the 3 day trial. Just submitted tapvisa.com. Received a message "Our internal risk system has prevented us from finding leads for this domain due to its material".

Not sure why?

Something i am finding also is that if i have a com and an info and these are the only 2 xtensions registered for the name, if i search on the com the lead is myself with the info so the search is wasted.
