Hello NamePros Members -

My name is Todd and I am the Executive Director of LeadRefs.com. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in a free month trial of the lead generation service? I have five free one month trials I can give out. I would love to get some feedback of what the regular domainer likes/dislikes about the product. I really value the opinion of fellow domainers and have an open mind.

For those that have never heard of LeadRefs.com, let me briefly sum it up. We offer a lead generation service that connects domain owners with potential buyers for their domains. We recently have also started to offer an Expired Package that lists all the top domains with the most leads daily from the Pending Delete list, GoDaddy, NameJet and SnapNames Exclusive Pre-Release lists.

I really think we have a service that is benefiting the domainer and the end-user as a whole. Getting domainers a return on their investment while also pairing the domains with end users who will maximize the value of the domain.

So if any of you are interested in that free trial, just send me a private message and I will have it all setup.

For further reading, we have been featured in some domain blogs that you can check out:

Thanks for getting on here! Leadrefs is a really great service that I have used several times with great success. Your last point is crucial. With this service both the domainer and the end user benefit. Anyone who has not checked it out and used it must.

Heard some good things about you guys, just signed up for the 3 day free trial on your site.

---------- Post added at 08:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 PM ----------

Quick question, while I'm here, still reading thru the site.

Are the Monthly Plans a rebill and if so, if we want to cancel, how so:

"13.2 If you want to terminate your legal agreement with LeadRefs, you may do so by (a) notifying LeadRefs at any time and (b) closing your accounts for all of the Services which you use, where LeadRefs has made this option available to you. Your notice should be sent, in writing, to LeadRefs’s address which is set out at the beginning of these Terms."

We can just do it online, email, form or phone or we have to actually write a letter and mail it out?

JB - You can just email [email protected] with your user name and that you wish to downgrade or cancel your subscription. It will be no problem. If there is an issue my personal email is [email protected] and I will take care of it.

Just a suggestion: If you can really do that, then why not say so clearly in the terms?
Many (or even most/wast majority?) in the domaining community are afraid of potentially falling wictim to a 1&1.com type of scam which is a service that is hard to terminate and they keep on billing you even after you have terminated it.

If I were to read anything that was ambiguous and even hinted of a possible 1and1.com type scam, I would bull the eject lever faster than you could believe.

Can your service help someone crappy names? If you are interested in testing that, feel free to PM me.:P

Yeah, that's a good idea. Get it in the terms, even maybe a form on the site that can be filled out, with email verification/print out that it was done. Just to cover the bases.

Not a problem. Legal has been updated to show you can email [email protected]. Thanks for the input.

As to your question about crappy names - what makes you think they are so crappy? :D
If your domain has leads, there is always an opportunity for a sale.

NP.

I know they are crappy. I would be willing to test your system to see if it can generate leads that result in sales for crappy names. Would be GREAT publicity for you if it can. Let me know if you are interested. :P
