I was wondering what everyone thinks on the layout and colors. Its not small-resolution friendly and you will see what I mean if you have Firefox and re-size it small... not pretty. I will have to fix that I know.

But on all other aspects, I welcome all comments. Thanks!

IMHO, the layout is very simple and plain. Add a bit more in the banner instead of just a text and some cloud images, maybe you should add a logo in there and add a style to the text also. I'd give this layout a 2/5, trust me this is just the beginning you'll get better if you practice more often and check out other designs and tutorials. Good luck with the designing.

I forgot to mention that I didnt know what to do with the banner so I left it as is and just put the text in there as a placer.

if this one of your first? because its good if it is. I agree with Hellfear on everything he says. Its very original, the overal layout is nice, just needs modernising, get rid of some of the clouds.

Its not my first complete layout in photoshop... Its my third technically.

So what do you mean by modernizing? Im not sure I follow that.

Ok, clouds are gone... I didnt like them much either. But I wanted something for texture... Ill figure something out.

I do want to re-design for a personal script site... would it be fitting for that kind as well? Im still learning the whole 'design' part of it

Complaints
-You need to fix all the html for the images. If the windows width is too low, all the images go out of place. You might wanna checkt that out
-The banner is empty, so much room, so little to look at
-Outside border is white. There is a white border all around the layout. Make the bg color the same as the bg of the image

Compliments
-Very original layout. It's nice to see change from the typical 2/3 column layout
-I'm definately liking the navigation placement. You don't see something like that very often.
-What you have for the banner now looks good, but if you expanded on it some more it could look awesome
