Which Layout? FEEDBACK Wanted!!

Hey

I haven't decided which layout to use yet and I'm after some feedback, I know I should really make my own layout but I really don't know where to start!!

Right for this first layout I just used the ready made from Dreamweaver. I haven't editted it that much. What could be improved on that page?
PAGE 1

The second layout I have had laying around on my computer since just before christmas. I have the idea of putting some ads, some adverts to do with the club and some text links for a small amount of money for UK people as that's what it will apply to most.

PAGE 2

Obviously I still need to work on the colours for both sites. I mean how random, a light blue title on the first site......lol

I like the second layout. Maybe a little wider, it is pretty small on my screen.

I too prefer the second design, needs some colour, a header and local flavour instilled into it, after all Aldershot has plenty of companies that need advertising.

Football scores / video clips / Fans writing in much like a blog / Player profiles / upcoming events / charity shows etc

Yea I too was leaning towards the second page I just wanted some other opinions...However the only problem I see at the moment is with all the links..Where would I place them??

3 column instead of two? It would rather depend on the advertising sold. You define the advertising whether simple links or banners/buttons and the cost, as this would denote where exactly on the page this would reside for maximum exposure. Links could be placed within posts if it were a blog so that anyone who posts a reply promotes sponsors, if rotating banners/buttons then a random strip with something like phpads (http://phpadsnew.com/two/index.html) would suffice

I like the second one, But the colour seems to be very dull. But looks very elegant and cool.
Totally pretty one.
