Which layout is better

Hey everyone,

I have created a layout for my site and found it to be too boring so Ive created another layout. I was wondering what layout everyone thinks is better. (looks, flexibility, attractiveness)

I prefer the second one, though I am really not sure the purple and light blue go well together.

Agreed - I'm always bothered when a site is not in the Middle of my viewing area/screen as well. I prefer the second one for the added Navigation Bar - But think the color scheme(s) could be altered to better blend IMO -
I think the content is fine as is - But Centering the site and some different colors would make it more pleasing to the eyes.
