I guess, touch screen computers will arise on the near future. It's possible. Still imagining how could that happened? Wow. Humans are really powerful and knowledgeable.

Eventually I think alot will be done without touching the screen alot by using gestures in the air.. we can see this coming already with gadgets like the Kinect.

It won't happen, think about all the people who need a beasty processor and high ram without having to deal with overheating.

Laptops will become bigger but never replace a desktop.

I agree. I heard an interview with Bill Gates and he said that everything would eventually be gesture-based.

I think it will happen sooner than we think.

I saw the interview on television and Bill Gates only mentioned that everything would be changing to gesture based computing. He didn't go into detail about it.

I don't have any pictures - but I think it is like the new Kinect game.

I think you will use hand motions to turn on your tv or computer.

There is a lot of info on the web about it.

Nintendo made some great inroads in this direction tho it wass not for a laptop, we can easily see how things could go from what they've developed in the past.. such as the Nintendo glove gontroller and the U-Force controllers..

Given early controllers like that and the Wii controller and the Kinect from Microsoft, we can extrapolate that laptops might someday contain similar technologies.

Sure looks sweet. But seems like a bit of work to roll it out, roll it in, put it on the stick. The Ipad concept is just so much easier if you ask me.

Oled exists and is just as flexible - just a matter of mass production.

But it would be equal to a netbook - to make it flexible (since optical cpu is basically ready, you can use optical high speed flexible connections to connect the flexible parts).

By the time something like this is made the CD/DVD drive will have become obsolete, replaced completely by flash storage. Flash storage is so cheap now, I'm surprised that movies aren't selling in flash drives instead of dvds, DVD players are starting to get replaced by usb slots on HDTVs as well. :wave:
