Know anything about Phpbb3???

Not sure where to post this on this forum but maybe I will get some help here.

I have a forum through PHPBB3
I have submitted the url to all the major search engines and promote it via banners & text links. The site gets pretty good daily traffic for being only about 10 days old but its not showing in any of the search engines (google, Yahoo, etc)

I have never had a problem getting my Flash & HTML based sites listed within a few days to the search engines but this is being a pain in my ass.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sandboxed. Unless of course you're trying anything weird.

Happened to me quite a number of times;

1. Site indexed in Google.
2. Good traffic with it being the number 1 result.
3. Suddenly disappeared from the index.
4. Reappeared few days later and now all's good. :tu:

i think this thread belongs in "search engines" too.

are pages from your site even indexed? no indexed pages = no search traffic. also, directly submitting to search engines is probably one of the slowest ways of getting indexed, as you should know.

your script has nothing to do with your search engine traffic/promotion/submission what you may need to avail is a search engine optimization mod if available on phpbb3 and install it as well.

i agree; this has nothing to do with phpbb3. rather, it's about getting your pages indexed and getting search traffic, which is all about search engine optimization (seo). you'll probably have better luck learning about seo than reading phpbb3 help files.
