This domain might be valuable to some. But from a person who was raised right in the middle of the civil rights movement, I think it $ucks.

Zero undeveloped. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. If the post stamp is after 5:00pm EST, the chances are even greater that inaccuracies will occur due to blood alcohol levels.

^^ i was about to raise the point about KKK ( as in american history ) , but i guess its valuable to someone i bet ,hope its used wisely if its a enduser

It doesn't have to be a Klan site.. In fact, it could be used specifically to keep it OUT of the hands of those types of people/hate groups... It could then be branded into something else, taking away some of the "brand identity" that is associated with those 3 letters...

Of course, if it was purchased to be sold to the Klan or hate groups, then I agree with the Zero appraisal...

I'd contact the KKK... their an organization.. it would match them perfectly..

Very unique domain. It is rare you see any LLL with triple repeat letters. The problem here is the negative context that "KKK" has.

We all know who the potential end user here is, and while they might pay good money for it I would not sell it to a hate group. I would rather just hold the domain to stop any potential hate group from being able to use it.

In fact I would probably develop it into a site that shows the negative history of the Klan.

I think that might be the best use for it.... An anti KKK site..

Thanks for the feedback. As mjbenterprises stated, it doesn't have to be a pro/anti klan site.
It's best suited to be rebranded, and it's definately memorable.
While it's not as good as aaa.org or xxx.org, it's certainly better than the majority of tripple letter.org's

Are you guys kidding? This name is excellent. Rather than thinking about people using it in a negative way, a large number of people would use it in a positive way. There are plenty of rich people out there who hate the KKK. If they were able to see that this domain was up for sale they may buy it just to put up an anti KKK site.

Great name in my opinion. Although, I am a strong Hater of the KK klan..

Many artists in the music business AKA Madonna has thrived on negative media attention. That is what made her to be who she is. Negative media brings in more views! and more success! Controversy=success!

I agree that it is memorable, but mainly due to the famous KKK acronym.

I think KKK would be virtually impossible to rebrand though. Everyone knows what it means, and I can't imagine anyone wanting a professional brand associated with that acronym.

There are uses, but it is what it is. People are going to associate this domain instantly with the Klan.

I'd personally keep it out of hands like you said, though you never really know who the buyer is so in some way that's impossible

I have to say, this is one of the rare instances in which a domain name should stay in the hands of a domainer, rather than the natural end user B-)

In order to look at this domain positively, why not try a baseball theme.
Write about perfect games, 3 up 3 down strikeout innings, discuss pichters/have polls on Cy Young picks etc

Have tips on how to be a better pitchter. Invite some african american pitchers to the site to guest blog, upload video lessons. Explain to them that you are trying to take the negative conotation of such a acronynm and use it to bring something positive to the youth.

Monetize the site with sports equipment affiliates, ebay/amazon products, baseball cards etc.
advertise pitching camps etc.

Add a forum for baseball players/those that want to discuss baseball.

For adults, we automatically think the negative of KKK. Why not let a group of kids grow up thinking of KKK as the best site on the internet to learn about being a major league pitcher first as opposed to what many of us first think of.

No way is this EVER going to be free of the Klan link. No way, no how. It's madness to think it can be steered away from them.

So, it's either got to be Pro, or Anti, those sorry excuses for people. Think very hard about where this is going to end up, because you'll be partly responsible for how it's used.

For exactly the same sort of reasons others have mentioned above, I bought a gun-related com recently, and offered it to these guys (free):

Home - Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

Definitely try pitching it to a KKK organization, or even another radical group such as the Black Panthers who might find a use in turning it into a Anti-KKK website.

I'm dumbfounded by the huge history of the KKK in the USA.

Presidents who were members of the KKK:
President Warren G. Harding (He was actually sworn into the Ku Klux Klan in a Klan ceremony conducted inside the White House by Imperial Wizard Colonel Simmons.)
President Woodrow Wilson
President William McKinley
President Calvin Coolidge
President Harry S. Truman

Supreme Court Justice:
Hugo Black

Notable Artists:
Gutzon Borglum the artist who carved Mt. Rushmore, Stone Mountain, and also did work on the base of the Statue of Liberty was a prominent Life Member of The Ku Klux Klan.

America has such a unique history.
Makes you wonder what radical organizations Obama and his administration perhaps belong to. 8^X

Nice name, difficult to use.

Good luck though
