There is a guy who is interested in a domain, but he is asking me to state him a price i want for it. I said i don't know what a decent price for this domain is and asked him to come with an offer. he said he needed an appraisale on the domain so i orderd a paided one. The appraisale might take some days and i would just like to know what poeple here think i should offer him the domain for?

Domain itself is worth pretty much nil value in the current market, so take the first offer you get IMO....

Start at $20, and ask him to make an offer ;)

Be aware this may be is scam...

Verify first if he sent money to you and after that transfer the domain...

I was just wondering. I deal with a lot of European buyers and they seem to really be into having the seller purchase the appraisal. Most of the time they will ask you to get an appraisal and once you do, they come back and say they dont trust that company and they want you to use one of their suggested companies. Then you end up spending another $55-$85 for another appraisal.
80% of the companies out there use software to generate their appraisals. The only manual process is to check the google rating and the overture type-ins per month. Most of that is done through software also.
A word of advice, make the buyer purchase the appraisal. If they are investing in domain names they will purchase the appraisal. If they want the name to develop themselves, they will not want an appraisal. They will just wnat the name. Just my opinion from experience. :)

for a $100 domain i would not bother with an appraisal. Sell as is. let the buyer pay for any requested appraisal in future.

Sell it as soon as possible on this price :)
