Hi,

I recently made the site www.tunedscooter.com, in the hope of getting people to learn more about how to tune scooters.

Unfortunatly, my name (Robert Allen) has become the main keyword for this site, and i am not exactly happy about it.

Is there a way to sort out this problem? Or shall i allow google to have my name as a keyword?

It means in case someone searches for Robert Allen, this site will appear amongst search results. What`s your problem with that? Your name is obviously the most frequent phrase of site content. Google is just a robot and indexes that. So, you could reduce dominance of your name or increase frequency of other keywords.

I find it really difficult to understand why this is happening. It is good that it actually made it into google in 3 weeks.

It happens because of your name frequent occurrence. Google crawls the site and selects most dominant words-phrases as important keywords.

my guess is that it's because of the "posted by" part. first thing i would do is change my wp username to say, "Tuned Scooter". it's a decent place to put those keywords since it's only on about 10 times, and there's good spacing between each instance of it.

btw, just did a ctrl+f of "tuned scooter" and there aren't any instances of it on the homepage (not good)!

Changing username to keywords could be simple and effective optimizing there, I think it`s good idea.
