discuss Keyword Example...

It seems as though the keyword "example" is reserved in most every extension, some ccTLDs but not all.

I've read the reasons behind why it was reserved but they could have came up with something better than blocking a keyword like this but JMO.

Anyone else have a keyword example.whatever? I'm curious...

I've seen a few available but they're probably reserved but not sure.

Some years ago, I noticed that people were using example.com and domain.com in tutorials and discussions. I never understood why they couldn't use their own names ( well some do of course ) At this time the sequence xyz1.com, xyz2.com, xyz3.com etc was being used when more than one domain was required. I registered xyz1.com as a result of this, and I've hung on to it. I suspect it's improved in value as a result of the popular xyz TLD, and, when/if I get myself sorted out, I'll try to use it sensibly.
