Held it since 2000. Maybe sold it too early, but good luck to the new owner.

Still pretty happy with the sale after hand registering it years ago. :xf.smile:

Congrats on the sale!

For people saying it's undersold, put your self in the negotiations, I'd imagine you'd of taken the same amount or even less.

I don’t think it oversold. If anything it undersold. Frankly it’s nice to see a non cheap domainer buying something here and it shared in public. There are so many here who want something for nothing. Reseller pricing is a joke.

I have no doubt buyer will profit from this domain. Congrats to both buyer and seller.

True........I have been here for years and sold a lot of domains......and there are PLENTY who want something for nothing. How do I deal with them? I don't, I tell them to move on and stand my ground on price. You have to be patient if you want the price you want.......I've been offered $100k for a domain and turned it down. If you think it has value and your not offered it, say no.

Benchmark a bad buy ok .. lol hey guys i just over paid for a domain make sure you benchmark this and compare your potential purchases and sales to it. Yeah I think it's a bad buy at $16,500 for a reseller. I really hope he proves me wrong and sells it for 100k. I much rather have bought a LLL.com or a one word .com then this for that price. Like i said before great sale for @MR PACKER
Have you made enough money in domains to afford a LLL.COM or one word .com? If so, let me know I have some for sale.

My success in domain names allows me to make acquisitions at this level for names that are very special. You can bash it all you like but there are levels to this and until you can see this name for what it is, you don't get to graduate to the next grade.

It's a premium domain. Its price is fair for the seller and the reseller. Price is what the seller is willing to pay. Congratulations to them.

bro, you came here and trolled my acquisition with your FUD.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. Not sure I'm ready to spotlight it like that (the sale).

FWIW, I think your videos have lots of value and people will learn lots from them. Keep doing your thing.
I appreciate that.
I wasn't intending to troll your acquisition so I apologize. To be clear, I personally think Crypto/Co and Crypto/Corp are both great names. Difficult for anyone to disagree with that.

MarketingStrategies.com is a cool name btw..I sold MarketingStrategy.com last year.

not sure why the congrats to buyer. I did not research this issue myself but if it's correct (as stated by member gilescoley) that a third party has a trademark on the words in 2015, it means this domain can not be used in the crypto area by the new buyer or high risk loss of both domain plus potential monetary damages, thus making the domain name basically worthless as a cryptocurrency name, imo.
it doesn't mean that. Your understanding is too simplistic and black/white. Maybe refrain next time from meddling and talking for the sake of talking.

this is not a thread for your to engage in unneccessary fears and speculation. If you are out of your depth and irrelevant to a successful transaction between two parties on NP, keep the perspective.

The members are still waiting for a reply to this from marketingstrategies.com to help their knowledge.
What exactly is your problem? Enjoy trolling? For days now you have been posting the same things repeatedly.

I suggest you get after the big names that own many trademarked terms. It has nothing to do with changing hands that has not been a reason someone lost a name unless they were stupid and allowed infringing ads. Trademarked names trade hands often.

This thread was about announcing a large sale and not asking your opinion on trademark law.

The seller and the buyer, both are satisfied with the transaction. Why are people who are not at all part of this transaction offering their " expert post sale views" which have no relevance at all .

If you want to appraise domains go to the appraisal section at namespro and help people like me there.

The seller decided he/she wanted people to discuss the sale when they made a singular thread about it. They just as easily could have posted the sale in the “reported sales thread”, but some people like to get as much attention as possible and want the spotlight on them. If you don’t want varying opinions about your sale, then don’t post a brand new thread for it.

Nice sale! I see it's on Uniregistry? Did the buyer inquire on your landing page & make an initial offer? How'd the negotiations go?

Pretty sure he sold it to @MarketingStrategies.com

Good sale considering it’s gone to another investor.

Yes, could certainly sell for more to an end-user but this was hand reg to 16k+ in a year. Very nice ROI.
Domain registered and held since 2000?

Tough for anyone to say it was undersold IMO.

Little bid undersold, especially it's 18 years aged domain. But we should not too greedy and run with the money instead LOL

What was the last big sale for a domain that had corp at the end of it??

What was a last big sale that had world at the end of it? Crypto )

Just 2 other 6 digit or more sales with world in the end. So Crypto+Corp also making it into top 3 and the only ones in xx,xxx makes sense.

I assume buyer has already something in the pipeline for further sale. Otherwise, he has to have expectation of 5/10 times higher price down the road, which would be hard to achieve.

You obviouslyyy sold the right domain at the right time to the right buyer for the right price and the right buyer obviouslyyy bought the right domain at the right time from (you,) the right seller for the right price...

...otherwise this sale / purchase wouldn't have happend which means, that the "butterflyyy effect"* could (would?) have been started!!!

Therefore, myyy
