i am currently going to start a self-employed business.
Therefore I need a company name.
As it is going to be a company which shall help my family to live a better life,
my idea was to combine the initial letters of my family members Leo, Ingo, Maria, Tim to create this name.

As you know, it is always nice to have a domain which fits to a company name.
It looks as if you were not actively using the domain limt.com.
So I would like to try it and kindly ask you, if you would be interested in handing over the domain limt.com.

What do you think about this?

You should email them back and advise that you'd be willing to sell it (if you actually are) and ask them to give you a price they would be willing to pay.

Keep the ball rolling on this! He obviously wants it, so you never know what he may actually be willing to fork over.

This is the same old excuse to get domains for a cheap price. Facebook hired a woman to buy SocialGraph.com for $1500. The woman claimed it was going to be used for "only a personal home page". Seller sold it and lost out on huge opportunity.

Just because someone have money, does not mean he is going to pay that much!
(at some point they can say "ok, we can't get it, we look for alternatives" ... and there are always alternatives -> google (google IS typo/alternative because right would be googol )

At least who cares. You know what your domain is worth and what you want for it! Everything else don't / should not care.

Do we get house / apartment cheaper just because we are not rich ?

As Pro be nice, simple answer that this domain is investment; you have paid (invested) in it; you see a)development / earning potential b) better offers to come

You never know who is on other side.

I received one of those, years ago.
And I remember seeing a thread on this forum from someone else who had; and others chimed in too. Obviously a semi-scammy type of tactic being used by a domainer/s in hopes of snagging just that one 'gem', where someone doesn't know the value of a domain they own. Probably sends out hundreds or thousands of these emails :notme:

Tell them you indeed have future plans for limt.com, but you are willing to hand over to them FrigYouImNotGivingNoFrigginScammerLimtDotComSoGoSuckEggsFool.com, because you are not presently using it.
