1and1 sucks. Their tech support I called today to try and transfer a domain to another account was a freakin' idiot, and kept trying to tell me that to transfer a domain internally costs 6 bucks because they have to "re-register the domain."

So I talked to his supervisor who had a decent fix to my problem, but it seems like they'd train their people to be at least a LITTLE more knowledgable about the domain industry and to not speak condescendingly to their customers, eh? I mean, I go to school, but I work at our computer department here doing walk-ins and call tech support (http://cit.cornell.edu) and the first thing they teach us is to never speak down to the customer.

Good gracious, people. You get what ya pay for.
