I found a great deal on a server. I figured to help a few people out I would get it if I could get 15 people interested in 1 gig space / 100 gig band for $12.99/month. Well only one person contacted me in the few weeks after the offer was put on a few hosting forums.

Why wasnt anyone interested?
I would have made NO profit at all on that price. Just wanted to help some people out
Can people really get that much for cheaper?

^^ Good point, IMHO.

Also, I know in my case and many others I know ... great SERVICE (in addition to reliability and pricing) is very important! I'd glady pay more if I knew fantastic service and support was included with my hosting. I'm not stating that you don't have them, but perhaps there may be too much emphasis on the cheap pricing and not enough on the all-important service and support aspect.

Good price ... but you should tell them your provider for some people will think it is a hosting with bad uptime. So either do a network uptime stat page or show who your provider is ... that sometimes helps ....

I have never used the place I was going to get the server from so I cant give uptime stats. From all the checks I have done and from talking to others the network is great...
Again I just thought I would help people out and maybe end up getting some word of mouth advertising...
