Anyone play EVE online?

I figured there might be a few people on the forums who play, so I thought I'd ask. Just started playing and would really love to find a few people to hang out with in game. I'm more interested in pirating than anything, but if anyone is involved in something that interests me, I'm open to anything. Just looking for some good company and some fun

I did the 15 day trial, it can be really fun if you have the time and patience to play.

One of the reasons i like it is because you dont need time to play The skill gain happens in real time, whether you're logged in or not. So essentially, you could start a character, log in just to start training a new skill, never play the game, and after awhile your character will be all skilled up Time restraints prevent me from powerleveling and 12 hour MMO days like in the past.

But yeh, I imagine this game takes either a hardcore MMO fan or someone who is all into the spaceship stuff (which Im not really) to enjoy. It's complicated, but the game mechanics are amazing.
