Got to ask a question because just from our answer you heard somewhere it is easy to do. What made you buy a domain "for profit" what news story or article did you find that said this was easy to do?

What research did you do to buy this domain out of the millions you could have bought? The more of your mindset behind this the better you may feel about this "hobby"

i was planning on putting it on auction on godaddy but i dont know if that is the best option, and i chose it because i thought it could be a good site for medical marijuana

Well i read on igoldrush and mainly on the forums of namepros, sorry for my lack of knowledge.

You dont have to be sorry BUT I would warn against buying any more domains until you read and then re read all the valuable info here. With so many different threads about buying domains and what works will save you much money and time. Take it east, slow down and by Spring then start buying names with your knowledge.

If you will understand it now - you won't lose your money.
We all (literally all) made this mistake at the begining.

Now let's think. If it's a good domain for the medical marijuana site, why nobody registered it and used before you. There a millions of domainers all over the world and nobody registered it.

Now let's check something. You don't know it, but the tool below will help you in the future. Namebio.com help you to find data about past sales of particular keywords.
If you will check it for keyword "salez" you'll find that there were no any sales with such keyword. Means it's rather not a popular one.

Advice: read first, purchase second

Actually they were all sold at aftermarkets: Sedo and Godaddy. I did literally nothing - just listed them for sale. Buyers found them and purchased.
