I'm super noob at this but just wanted to start off with some names to at least get a feel for it. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, get your money back, these are not worth anything, unless you aim to spend money on developing them!.

Don't feel bad, I did the same, maybe more when I was a newb (and still am in some way), and there are plenty of people who've done the same as you.

My advice is to read, read and read the posts in this forum, to get an idea on what types of domain names to buy and then go purchase them.

child-names.com is fairly ok domain in my opinion, it has 2,400 exact monthly searches and it is a clear short domain name, even the dash suits it.

You can either develop it or sell (or develop and sell), it should bring you some money either way. Also developing it should be very easy, because it does not require any specialist knowledge. The other domains are a little bit 'iffy' though.

In terms of learning I found really useful scanning the auction sites, and the online resources which publish already completed sales.

When you scan auctions and marketplaces (search this forum for the most common auction sites urls), first thing you should do is arrange the domain list (and you will be shocked at how big it is) according to the number of bids and/or the number of offers which domains receive. This gives you an immediate picture of what kinds of names people are interested in. Obviously the same with the completed sales records, you can see what has been actually bought and for how much.

Then on the basis of what you've learned (and you need to read and re-read and re-read these domain lists in order to get a good grasp of which names tend to be valuable/wanted) it will be much easier to make decisions when buying or registering your own domains.

By all means use the forum and ask advice, but nothing is better than the raw data of domains which are out there, and which are selling and getting offers. It is more difficult way to learn I suppose, but in my opinion much more reliable - and something you will end up doing anyway if you engage in this business seriously.

I'd drop the .net if you can.

I dropped all except for child-names.com. Godaddy is real easy to work with if you refund same day.

Infmoney, I suppose you're a beginner when it comes to yielding dough online. I suggest you absorb what ever information you'll find online on what Keywords are and why they're indispensable to anyone who ever sought to or has yielded income online.

Once you have the fundamental understanding of what keywords are, it'll be far more easy to find and invest in lucrative domain names.

Thats pretty ugly too.

If you bought 4 or 5 names the money would be much better served ($40 or so) spend on something in the NamePros names for sale section. For $40 you can get something pretty cool. That is my recommendation anyway, good luck!

yep its ugly, but from what everyone says about the keywords wouldn't that be a good name? Just as spelled in the site I bought, it gives 14,800 per month.

I don't think any of them have much of a chance, child-names.com may get you a small amount of money but I wouldn't count on it...maybe $50?

I will also chime in here, what I did was take a look at the closeouts that Godaddy does, basically they are firesale domains and you can find some wonderful domains here if you know what you are looking for; however this is not the goal to begin with.

Gte a load of these in a list, it may be possible to download a CSV file with 40,000 of them and just go through the list picking out what you thin has potential, after a few months of doing this regularly I can tell you now that you will find yourself being much more selective and the quality of those that you do buy will go up 100fold :)

I did this for a long time, just honing my spotting abilities and while I barely have any .com domains I do have a small pile of very nice .info :)

First few months, you shouldn't register anything...just watch and learn as much as you can and it will save you so much in the long run.

If you keep registering the quality of domains as in your first post I can almost guarantee you will quit in about 6-9 months lol

Trying to hand register domains is your first mistake. Most anything worthwhile is long gone. Do some research and then scour the aftermarket for a solid name :imho:

Whats your goal with it? If its to sell it to someone else as is, no your not on the right track. If you luv what it says and you bought it to make a website out of if then thats different. $0 Goodluck
