One McDonalds burger during their $1 value meal sale. BurgerRecipes might make sense... the extra s doesn't

You would have been better of not buying it, no value. See if you can get a refund

Give it away.
Though put it on auction and you may get a dollar or two.

No one I know of would ever be looking for burgers recipes.
Burger recipes yes.

Donate it to Burger King. They need the help!

Actually i see potential in it if you develop it. The prob is your competition is huge so getting ranked on the top of the first page could be difficult. I like it, develop it and then try selling it.

Hi Guys, thanks for your replies. Most of your comments, apart of 999names, doesn't make sense and I will explain why.

1) Google Keywords Tool gives me a burgers recipes a Low competition KeyWord with Monthly Global & Local searches of 450,000 with a cost a CPC of ยฃ0.33

2) Using a more sophisticated software to analize the Keywords I got burgers recipes with potential of receiving 6,214 clicks daily if #1 in Google and only 19,900 sites mention this keyword at all. There is more, if ranked #1 in Google alone it will potentially generates a revenue of ยฃ29763.62 daily, this keyword has increased his value on Google Trends for the last 6 months with more searches on the following countries:
1. Canada
2. United States
3. Australia
4. United Kingdom

How come is a โ€œgive awayโ€ โ€œdonateโ€ โ€œask for refundโ€ domain ?

Sorry, but what is your โ€œmeasureโ€ to appraisal a domain ?

Thanks for all responses

Searches are for "BURGER" recipes.

There are 4500 "burgers recipes" searches but most of these are "something burgers recipes".

Some people love EXACT figures and you are at 240 searches.

The CPC is $0

No one will develop so you have to hang your hat on selling to someone who actually would like to own this name. Names people want to own might be brandable or service a particular function. No end user that I know of has a business selling burger (no s) recipes.

You'll be lucky if you get 1 click let alone 6,000
You're competing against BURGER RECIPES because Google will autocorrect to this.

It's worthless as a domain. If you want to invest hundreds of hours and $$$ to get to #1? Feel free.

Sorry but I agree with defaultuser and the others. Reseller value is likely reg. fee at best IMO.

Sorry I don't get it..

Dear All, I can not express my sincere appreciation for all your help answering my question. I am a completely newbie who would like to prosper in the Domain Market, if I am getting the basics wrong, my end will be very painful which I am hoping to avoid with your help, so....

I attached the searches that I made on Google External Keyword Tool and it shows that same figures as before 450,000 searches.

How is possible that another users searches are giving different numbers with the same search.

Guys dont get me wrong I am looking for advice and guidance. How do I appraise a domain if I can not trust the Google Tool for searches ?

As you can see attached is the screen of the tool.

I need help and I am hoping to hear from you.

Cheers and God Bless you all.:D

Welcome to NamePros. Keyword match info: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&ctx=tltp&answer=2497836

450,000 broad match [210 exact] is not remarkable. Bananasrecipes.com 823,000 broad match [210 exact] is gathering dust, available to register.

Whois records indicate that the gold standard burger recipes dot com will not sell cheap. That can work in your favor but realize that burger recipes business plans are rare.

wholesale: $X
retail: $XXX
resale probability: low

Again, burgers recipes is not a great search term.
And if you look at the results, except for a top few, they are burgers - recipes.
Go to the sites, it is again: burgers - recipes
No one calls it burgers recipes.

I want to know the software, which gave 6000 possible clicks for burgers recipes. There is something wrong with it. The other users explained excellent why the worth of this domain is reg fee at best.

Hi Guys, Thanks again for your inputs.
I am using Market Samurai which I did though that was good, however with so many people saying that my keyword are rubbish, I am having doubts....
Okay, I will assume that I only did a broad search and forgot to do an [exact] keyword search. That is the kind of mistake that only a newbie like me will do it. At least I haven't spend a fortune LOL.

Do you recommend any particular way or method of evaluating Keywords ? or Google alone is a good method ?

Thank you for your help.
Cheers

Firstly improve your English skills. Any person fluent in English would realise the term burgersrecipes does not make sense. Actually Plural-Plural type keyword terms don't make sense in MOST languages.

$10 as is value.

Thank you for your kind advise, however, there are quite a few Latin languages where plural-plural Keywords that does make a lot sense. But that is not the case. Thank you for valued input.

:talk:

Hi

your inital mistake, is in thinking that a gkwt number will equate to a domain having value.

but there is more criteria to consider, other than a number that G gives.

there is perception, not just how you see the domain, but how others see it as well.

there is the plural "burgers" versus the singular "burger

most newbs make fatal mistake of adding an "s" to a domain, simply because that's what's avaialble for them.

well, there is a reason why it's available and that's tne perception that you are missing.

stay away from GKWT for decision making regarding domain registrations and purchases, at least until you have a better understanding of how to evaluate a domain.

imo...
