eh, the .com .net .org and .info all carry more value than the .name

(even when it is someones name)

This could be a little revenue maker with a simple wordpress site or info site about him (maybe with actual music of his to listen to)

Celebrity names are similar to trade marks as far as I know of. Same sort of problem. But I am no lawyer so I may be wrong, try posting in Legal Issues & Disputes about it to see if it will be a problem or not.
