It could either be used as a personal name or a description for the river in Alaska, check Wikipedia link. Alternatively one could put up a poker related site here (as in the river), which would give better paid ads than the other alternatives.

It has 90,500 global searches according to keyword tools, half of them from the US.
I have registered .Net, .Org and .Info as well. The .Nl is registered and in use by someone in the Netherlands. Valuate puts it at 280$ while NameBoy puts it at 10,000$. I know these are guesstimates so I am asking for a second opinion here.
Who should I target for a sale and what could I potentially sell this for?

Well its great that it has some meaning but still without development there is not a very great value.

It actually only has 1000 global searches...your original statement does not take into account that someone might be searching for "I got my john hooked on a fishing line while showing off to my girlfriend while naked by the river, medical help"

While the keywords are still there it does not help your cause :p

I don't really see any astronomical value in this, you may be able to sell it to the chamber of commerce in that area for a couple of hundred dollars but not really much more

Besides that, you have it at noomle but not turned on?...i would turn it on and monitor it, with the right keywords you might get some traffic there...if not you have at least an overview...
