Let's see how smug they are when they are facing 20 years in prison.

Like this fuck below... What an American Hero.

I mean, really how stupid. Not even covering his face. I expect this from younger kids, wanting some social media fame but I guess older folk want that too. But this will be an easy arrest.

Pence has been nothing but loyal to him.

Now on live TV, a coup attempt by Trumpers spurned on by Trump, the leader of domestic terrorists

he’s still your president right now 😂😂😂😂

And what did Trump say to the fools entering today into de Capitol in a Sedition act, risking 20 year prison term?
What did say Trump to the ones that have commited a SEDITION ACT to the US democracy?
He literally said, "he loves them and they are very especial".
Is there still any doubt of the real danger that Trump represents to the US democracy right now?
Is there any doubt about who is the ultimate responsible of the Sedition act commited today on the Capitol?

Another "Patriot" here. It is going to be a beautiful thing to see the full weight of the justice system thrown at these domestic terrorists who stormed the capitol building.

That's the intelligence level of those fools, committing a sedition act punished with 20 year prison term, and making selfies all around the Capitol.

Oh, we will remember the day that the sitting President lead a seditious coup attempt to try and overturn democracy. What a legacy.

Donald J. Trump

These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!

If that's not inciting a riot, a sedition, I don't know what it is.
Trump have been telling his electorate during 2 damn months the election has been stolen. Really, if that's not incredibly putting the whole country in danger of a civil war, I really don't know what it is.
Inciting sedition, added to the attempt to subvert election result by threatening an State official to commit a crime by manipulating the results and "find 11,700 votes".
The man is adding merits to be prosecuted for quite a few crimes now, that for sure should prevent him enough to put in danger again the US democracy again in 4 years.

Congressional leaders are in the undisclosed location and focusing on the 25th Amendment to get @realDonaldTrump out of office!
6:23 PM · Jan 6, 2021
"The 25th Amendment, proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation."

I totally agree that the 25th Amendment should be applied as soon as possible to get Trump out of office, he is a total danger to the US democracy and cannot be in charge not a minute more.

Twitter cracking down even harder now:

2 weeks until his account gets zapped, unless they do it early because of today's events.
Good to see Twitter finally acting correct and removing the craziness Trump is spreading on Twitter during the last 2 months, and so convincing his fan base about the election stolen conspiracy lies.
Twitter has finally seen the danger those tweets represent for the safety of the US democracy.
Also it seems that Twitter see coming the 25th Amendment and don't want to wait more.

Yep. I flipped to Fox to see their angle on this and they had on the screen that Trump's account is now locked for Civil Integrity, something like that.

eh, just for 12 hours

"As a result of the unprecedented and ongoing violent situation in Washington, D.C., we have required the removal of three @realDonaldTrump Tweets that were posted earlier today for repeated and severe violations of our Civic Integrity policy."

I guess everybody has their limits, some of his supporters were fearing for their lives today. Heard some Republicans literally calling in asking for Trump to call them off. But many of them instead of standing up to him, calling him out, went along with it. They've been getting a taste of it today.**

They're just exposing themselves, a very loud minority but becoming the fringe.

**Speaking of getting a taste of it. What I said earlier. I wonder how Pence is feeling today. All the loyalty he showed Trump. Now he might need extra security from some of these crazed Trumpers, politically he's now in the toilet. Reap what you sow.

Bloomberg reporter...

Steven Dennis
@StevenTDennis

An impeachment and removal would require 20 Senate Republican votes, which frankly is seeming more and more likely if Trump does not concede and announce he will leave office peacefully Jan. 20 following tonight's certification of Biden's win.

Congress is set to resume counting tonight, Pelosi says, hours after mob takes control of the Capitol.

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/06/us/politics/protesters-capitol-hill.html

Lawmakers will resume counting Electoral College votes on Wednesday, hours after a mob of Trump loyalists stormed the Capitol, Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said as she vowed that the assault would not “deter us from our responsibility to validate the election of Joe Biden.”

“We always knew this responsibility would take us into the night,” Ms. Pelosi wrote. “We also knew that we would be a part of history in a positive way today, despite ill-founded objections to the Electoral College vote. We now will be part of history, as such a shameful picture of our country was put out to the world, instigated at the highest level.”

Rand Paul: No more objections expected to Electoral College count

"No more objections are expected as lawmakers expect to continue counting the Electoral College votes Wednesday, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., told reporters.

Legislators will vote to close debate after they resume, but Paul said he does not expect any more objections to the process."
