A few of my domains have been "verifying" for days now. If you type them in, they go to a sedo parking page, but its not like its being associated to my account. I tried offering for one of my own names, and it didn't get sent to my account. So I dunno.

They do take a bit to verify the domains...give it another day or so.

The first 20 or so all came up instantly though. :(

there's a certain delay when it comes to verifying the owner of the domain, after you send an email from the domain admin's contact email wait for 2 to 3 days, depends on what their timetable is. hth

I was looking at some of the names in your sales thread, some of them are .ws's. Are those the ones not being verified? I don't think the .ws registry whois has public information available so Sedo may take a while to verify those. Not sure how they do it though without whois. I would imagine other ccTLDs with similar whois policies probably have the same issues too.

I had a .bz that took a long time (3+ days).

I think it depends on the Registrar as well. My iDotz names always take a day or two longer than my GoDaddy names (at least it seems that way to me).

They are closed on weekends, may be why a bit slow.

Double check your contact info and administration info also, make sure everything is correct. (I've made some errors on those in the past myself - doh!)

Email support if it's not verified by tomorrow.

If someone else has the name up for sale at sedo or simply in their account, sedo does a manual verification and cleanup of the database. This can take up to 10 days in my experience. This is to deter scammers and click fraud. IMHO this is a good thing.

I have 3-4 that have been verifying for almost a week now, also. So long that I've already sold one of them. :P I've emailed their customer support to ask that they step on it a little bit.

Afternic is MUCH better, in my experience, about clearing out outdated listings that prevent you from entering yours. It's usually cleared out within hours of an email to customer support.
