Just got this yesterday.
Very excited about the name as it is a big big market.
With an OVT of over 382K /month, how much do you think it could be of value to a reseller and end user?

It may be that nobody wanted it because of possible trademark issues:

I know it has trademarks but so does car / cars / ear / sound etc
The point in reason is that the word is generic and was in existence ever since WWII as seen from the following link:

Also this is a Genericized Trademark, which means that it is a category of saleable goods which can not be classified as only a particular brand or mark. Of course individual trademarks are subject to the mark and classification. Thats why you can see around 20 TM's for the single word. Check here:

Yeah, "jeep" is a tricky term, since it may be considered a genericized term.

I guess there is always the risk of Jeep deciding they want to try and take away peoples Jeep domain.

Yup i know what u mean, but as an example check out CARS for trademark, youl find around 2000 and for "cars" alone around 100.

As a friend mentioned, Jeep is a TM (only a mark used by not one, but many, and Jeep is not a inc only a name pertaining to a mark) but "Jeeps" is a word used by every car dealer around the world. Jeeps is also being used by almost all major brands of cars becuase of the genericized mark and the broad market it encapsulates. Also Jeeps being used by a registered car dealership or a similar registered authority would not have a problem; it is after all a dictionary word dating back to the 40's.

Yeah, Jeep is a tricky term, since it may be considered a genericized term, but that does not mean Jeep wont one day decide that they want to try and take it anyway.

I don't think you have a problem with domain for TM issues... so don't worry about that.

I saw it on Snap... and if I had the money I would have bidded on it myself..

I think it is a 8k-10k domain... but you should develop it...
