I'm a pretty inexperienced domainer.

I regged these through Pool auctions but due to working on other things have not really had the chance to follow what's been going on in the .mobi market. I've a lot of catching up to do on this forum.

In the meantime any idea what these are might be worth ? I'm thinking of developing one as a java games (for mobiles) site. Not sure about the other one.

Anyway, any thoughts or advice at all much appreciated ! Cheers.

Just about any three letter mobi will pull at least $200 without difficulty. Doo is a little strange, but the double letter is a plus. Jav - There may be trademark considerations with Java. But seems like someone sold Jav.something (not com) for a goodly amount of money a year or so ago.

Okay, doo might be a little harder to work with or develop. The first thing that comes to mind (which is how I type this dribble to begin with...let my fingers do the brainstorming) is brand this as site featuring the latest hairstyles...a woman's DOO. The branding and marketing is all up to you. Very easy to brand and create this appeal. Sign up with affiliates like CJ and sell woman's health and beauty products. Get someone that is slick into programming and have all the spas, salons, etc. come up on the screen based on zip code. It can be done.

Jav...I see as being an even more abbreviated version of Java...COFFEE!!! Someone mentioned Java being trademarked. Nope. The java script is, how they use their logo is...but their is Java island and a generic word java which stands for coffee...and generic words can not be tm. But that's an entirely different issue. Think of every thing coffee and associated with it...Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme, Waffle House, Omelet Shoppe...this is in the US, perhaps international now. Here again, get signed up with CJ or some affiliate and perhaps have links for coffee makers, ordering those fancy packaged coffees, or even travel such as Java Island...one of the most expensive coffees in the world is Jamaica Blue at about $130.00 pound (that's not even their pot...ganga) and next is perhaps Kona from Hawaii. So here you can tie in travel on your coffee site...Costa Rica, Guatemala...forget Columbia (too dangerous). Promote the travel almost like the wine tours of Napa Valley in California.

I was unsure about going for them. I had only just joined Pool and was hopelessly outbid on the .mobi I really wanted at the time, so it's nice to know I didn't foul up completely.

I had no idea the .mobi market was moving up so fast either.

Strangely enough I have two hair sites and a skincare site already so this may well be something to look into ! Coffee I'm afraid I know nothing about but perhaps worth considering also.
