Anybody has any idea how I can get back USDT sent to a fraudster?

I don’t mind paying some percentage of the money I lost but I just need help urgently.

I got contacted to start a freelance job earning from home by performing specific tasks that’s how I have lost €7k.

Can’t believe I fell for this because I was looking for money to pay rent , now I’ve gone from bad to worst.

These scammers target so many job seekers and there might be more victims like you. Better to report it and let them deal with this.
Agreed. I’d do just that .

did you create new account to report the scam?

don't you aware that no one can undo usdt txn's!

wake up and move on.
Wtffff!
Is wrong with the internet today ?

I came across name pros because I was searching for reliable ways to regain my money. Aside that it seemed like a useful platform for my career as a PM.

I can understand people being weary , afterall I’ve just been scammed.

But please nobody should call me a scammer without even asking for evidence.

nobody can help you with these scammers, you can file a complaint for free but never pay anyone to help you all are scams.
I won’t do that!

I’m just here for ideas. Wasn’t necessarily confident I’d get one.

The problem is there is no easy way to recover the funds.

Basically every crypto recovery service is also a scam. The same people often get scammed twice, by trying to recover the initial loss.

Totally understand that.

Thanks Brad.

"I can help you get your funds back. First, send $7k USDT to this address..."

Many such cases.

Unfortunately, I can see this being quite successful for them too. The way I see it, one of the main tasks of a scammer is to filter out the astute from the gullible, and what better way for them to ascertain this than people who have already fallen victim to a scam. It's like being handed victims on a silver platter.

Well, good luck @Ivy31, if you are indeed genuine.

This is a domainers forum.
I was wondering , why you came here asking for help in a crypto related scam?
We talk about domains here.
The only ones talking about crypto scams are the ones trying to scam.
You see where I’m going ?

Good luck 👍🏼

The only free thing you can do is bring awareness to others, so you should go name and shame, on all the available social medias, of who, what, when and where you send your money. But if you are ashamed that you have fall in such a trap, then nobody will be able to help or side with you, it's even not guaranteed that anybody will care, cause what everybody cares today is only of their own black dot and money!

Thanks for sharing your story. Perhaps your story will help an uninformed potential victim.

As for your money, honestly, it would be nearly impossible to recover.

I sincerely hope you are able to bounce back and make many times what was stolen from you.

Anyone suggesting that there’s a way to recover the money is themselves a scammer, which is why people are taking offense to your post.

Go to the police. You probably won’t get your money back, but that’s all you can do. Nobody else can do anything about it.

I don't believe this thread.

Why? Because. namePros has been under attack by new accounts spamming the forum with crypto recovery scam threads...

... And now, a new user creates an account, solely to post this thread, yet provided zero evidence of the email addresses, websites, or any details used in this alleged thread.

Why are you even entertaining this thread?

Is this a training exercise, simulation, or maybe a PSA to educate namePros members not to fall for the hundreds of crypto recovery scams plaguing namePros recently?

Thank you.

I now know there’s no legal means to getting my money back.
I have reported to the police.
All I can do is pick up myself and move on.

Unfortunately , in my google search for how to recover my lost USDT. I came across a post here.
Funnily enough immediately I read it and saw the comment about being helped by someone and contact … whatsapp number I knew that was scam too 🤣🤣
But I also felt there’s a possibility of getting help here🤣

Please y'all should move on.
I’ve moved on from that . Fortunately I’d survive the set back!
One day at a time.

I got contacted by a recruiter I have worked with before.
They added me to the group and onboarded me.
Had a 30 mins call showing me how to use the platform.
The website is boost-lastminute.com

After performing tasks on the website then you get paid.

When I realized what was going , the recruiter had blocked me everywhere.
