Italian football decision made

The decision has been made regarding the outcome of the Italian match fixing allegations.

Juventus are relegated to Serie B and start with a 30 point penalty and are also stripped of their last 2 titles.

Lazio are relegated to Serie B and start with a 7 point penalty.

Fiorentina are relegated to Serie B and start with a 12 point penalty.

AC Milan start next year with a 15 penalty although stay in Serie A

Although 2 of the relegations are not mentioned as of yet in the news story posted below they are reporting it on the TV (the same organization)

13 of the team that won the world cup play for these 4 teams. I wonder how many of them will stay with the teams (or if the teams will still even be able to afford them).

also it has been mentioned as well that Juventus will not take part in any european fixtures this year.

a 30 point penalty for juve. that is quite harsh as well as relegation ! Interesting to see how they all end up!

kevmacmeh Its not that harsh as they were going to be relegated to Serie C in the first place. but I suppose theyll go down anyway with that defeciet.

I think that Milan should have gone down too...maybe thats just cos I wanted some of their players to move to england

They deserve everything they get. Agents will be working overtime tonight i think trying to get players new clubs as i dont think after winning the world cup that any of them wish to play in Serie B.
