Hopefully you guys will agree that this was a sensable purchase at $3,000 per anum.

This is a new venture between myself and Aamerretto, and it shows the power of this forum - to allow such trust to build up over a period of 6 months or so - for both of us to take the leap.

Without .TV sub forum, and the 70% discount...this partnership would have never got off the ground.

I would thus like to thank Equity for starting this all up and for the friends I have made through this forum, ARGOS particularly, for giving me the inspiration to continue....

This new venture will be backed up by a strong legal framework and LLC, but for the time being, it is being held in my name until we can get the legal protection we both deserve.

I have seen some very, very powerful regges today - LV.TV, MR.TV (huge grab, LV.TV and outstanding brand MR.TV) BIOLOGY.TV, SUPPORTGROUP.TV, NONPROFIT.TV, OPPURTUNITY.TV and many many more to surface in the near future I am sure.....

Never has there been a more opportune time than to kickstart your sites into development!!!

Cheers

Millers

Millers and Aamerretto, it.tv is really outstanding and the $3,000 fee is of course a lot of money, but in this case a complete bargain. End users, especially in the it business, will have no problem at all paying this fee.

My highest reg fee is $2,750 for taiwan.tv and taipei.tv together, but I have to admit that they don't even come close to it.tv.

Personally I have no problem with people who think negative about the .tv extension and I respect that. Think like this, if more people would see the potential in .tv than your it.tv was already taken :)

I knew it was available and I was going to reg it at the 70% discount level. I was bummed when I saw it was gone.

Considering all of the Information Technology (IT) development options, I think $3,000 a year is cheap considering IT.com would cost seven figures. Besides, IT.tv has a real nice ring to it.

Topnames - great vote of confidence coming from you!!!!

I have come across quite a few of your regges on .TV and have alot of respect for these regges!!!!

It was quite a story on this reg - spoke to a business partner of mine - and the decision was made so quickly to go for it that it surprised the both of us. Literally - it took less than five minutes.....Knowing that you saw the value too in the discounted reg fee - gives me some self confidence in some of my more recent judgement calls....

A very nice name indeed I should say. IT as in Information Technology is far well known and technology is always changing as such. I looked at that name in my consideration, but that price tag, I could not take it.

I congratulate both of you for merging and making a nice selection. Oh yes, there are always nay sayers, which is good to some extent to put things into reality. I learned something a long time back, you do not risk you do not have the chance to make big either. Let it be money, love, life or anything.

Well the question becomes or should be asked is about the plans to make the returns. Lower limit is the renewal fee and the upper limit is the sky.

Good wishes,

GH

I agree completely

Actually, I almost registered education.tv a few months ago when Scott was still with .tv. With the 70% discount, that one was a steal as well. Two very nice regges and cornerstones of a .tv portfolio.

Now if I can just get them to lower home.tv :)

it.tv at $3k per annum.... Hmmm..

If you have strong and immediate development plans then its a fantastic price and you have a major bargain.

If you have any intention of keeping for resale then its a frightening proposition.

I also hope you didnt actually reg OPPURTUNITY.TV D-:

No - that was an incorrect typo on this thread - not in the reg itself. This was someone elses reg anyway......

As to your comment regarding immediate development and being scary if waiting for resale - yes, a little scary, but not so scary if you have a strong belief that .TV will be a fixture in any major generic and that IT is probably one of the biggest of them all and will take place within the next few years...
