Hopefully you guys will agree that this was a sensable purchase at $3,000 per anum.

This is a new venture between myself and Aamerretto, and it shows the power of this forum - to allow such trust to build up over a period of 6 months or so - for both of us to take the leap.

Without .TV sub forum, and the 70% discount...this partnership would have never got off the ground.

I would thus like to thank Equity for starting this all up and for the friends I have made through this forum, ARGOS particularly, for giving me the inspiration to continue....

This new venture will be backed up by a strong legal framework and LLC, but for the time being, it is being held in my name until we can get the legal protection we both deserve.

I have seen some very, very powerful regges today - LV.TV, MR.TV (huge grab, LV.TV and outstanding brand MR.TV) BIOLOGY.TV, SUPPORTGROUP.TV, NONPROFIT.TV, OPPURTUNITY.TV and many many more to surface in the near future I am sure.....

Never has there been a more opportune time than to kickstart your sites into development!!!

Cheers

Sorry, I can't see the name being of any value with a reg fee of $3000 per year attached to it.

A very nice name indeed I should say. IT as in Information Technology is far well known and technology is always changing as such. I looked at that name in my consideration, but that price tag, I could not take it.

I congratulate both of you for merging and making a nice selection. Oh yes, there are always nay sayers, which is good to some extent to put things into reality. I learned something a long time back, you do not risk you do not have the chance to make big either. Let it be money, love, life or anything.

Well the question becomes or should be asked is about the plans to make the returns. Lower limit is the renewal fee and the upper limit is the sky.

Good wishes,

GH

Yeh, every naysayer also had alot to say about google when they first came out - an empty page that gives you direction to other webpages??? Forget it!!

Now, IT.TV may not become a google!!!!!!! but IT is THE abbreiviation for INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - world wide....8 billion google hits confirms this...has an OVT of 86,000 ......

Yes, the downside risk is that AM and myself lose $1500 each per annum on this.....now, lets discuss the upside - 10,000,000 plus global IT firms may want to offer their interactive video technology services to their clients whom in turn will want to reach out to their clients via this new IT medium......a market that is only just starting to wake up to the benefits of it......a risk both myself and AAMAretto are willing to take on ........

This is just one business model - there are literally so many different models to choose from......but SNOOP, you are entitled to your opinions and to share them openly on this forum....

Different strokes for different folks!!!

Snoop first off you have never had anything worthwhile to say about anything or anyone on this forum that was not .com Secondly I would have not regged IT because I don't have a plan for it, they should not be listening to me I am talking about anything just go with your plan and pay no attention to naysayers has nothing to do with .tv I mean in everything. WHat anyone else thinks doesn't matter and especially people who say absolutely nothing in their negative response no substance what so ever.

IT Tv is also Nice MILLERS just as the word IT but good luck to you and again IGNORE all naysayers its your money its already spent and unless someone is looking to help you I got two words for you hahaha

The thread starter is asking if "this was a sensable purchase at $3,000 per anum", he isn't asking for only positive comments, he asked for feedback.

I find it interesting that you'd state that my comments were not worthwhile yet in the same breath you'd say you wouldn't have registered the name yourself, that suggests to me you don't think this name is worth the registration fee paid?

I have two questions for you,

1. What you would have paid for the name? (in terms of an annual registration fee) and,
2. What you think this domain is worth in terms of an annual registration fee?

You are right, there is nothing bigger than IT....and I am hoping/betting that IT will want to morph their product emphasis over the coming years to selling the latest interactive media capabilities - as the ultimate way to advertise products.........to their existing & potential client base......

If they do, then where better to advertise their services - aside from their own website, than IT.TV. They will have a place and format, to show off the very type of products they are hoping their clients will buy into - the age of interactive media technology...they will sell themselves as a company and the services they provide using the very latest in video technology on IT.TV & the name says it all aswell

And if.0001 percent of global IT companies choose to advertise on this site - even a small dollar amount - well, the dollars start to stack up nicely.......and again, this is just one avenue to pursue.....

The risk/reward concept is an age old equation.....and me & Aamaretto are firm believers of this......

Snoop,

We did make an offer for IT.COM - our offer was however dismissed as being a few million to low..........

Thanks atypical,

Every vote of confidence is a breath of fresh air!!!

We really have a passion, as you have stated is a must...............we will make this work and hopefully everyone interested in .TV will benefit from this....I think today has been a monumental one....alot of entrepeneurs on this forum made a decision today - am I in....?? Are the risks worth the premo regges...???

Many of us have said yes......I am sure we will all be well rewarded for these decisions in the coming years....

Thank you once again Sir..

Or should I say Mam!!

www.It.tv

It.tv was owned previously. It is listed on www.Archive.org, first in 2002, and has received 5 bids on www.Sedo.com ! Most definately a winner!

Miller, Aamerretto,

Good work!

Go after CNET. If you need a partner, you know where to find me. ;)

Congrats again. Ignore the haters. We know if we own 50 .tvs and if 49 of them fail, we will still come out ahead. Remember, it only takes one. Ask any seasoned entrepreneur.
