.IT this unknown...

I lurked quite deeply the forum, trying to get some informations about .it, not so surprisingly i see there arent any.
Somewhere i've read that even if the global industry clearly deal most with TLDs that matter (.com & others), it's not so wrong to approach your ccTLD market.
It's just a couple of weeks that I'm getting informations and while learning some valuable infos of you Namepros I try to understand (in a parallel way) what my country (.IT) is doing, looking for the correspondant .it of some keyword or industry or trend...and "unfortunately" most of them is grabbed....but are they have any value?

I can realize is a really generic but...
Did you ever sell any .it or deal with italian investor?

I know that many IT businesses choose this domain. Over the past year we have registered more than 300 .it domains. At the end of Q2, 2015, total registrations of .it domain names increased to 2.8 Millions.

So you're suggesting that as Italian shouldnt be so wrong digging deep some premium/top keyword left .it?
Could they increase value along a risen IT italian awareness?

I believe that the value of the .it domains is underestimated. But who knows what will be in the future?

Maybe you can use service based that side, but seriously, that is not worth the hassle.

Being from Italy I know .it very well.. And I don't like it very much.
Since some years ago there was a registration system "via fax" that was suspicious (to be politically correct), so all the best domains have been registered by a few companies.
Sometimes there are some interesting domains on the drop (you can try Nidoma.com for backorder) but the enduser market is very limited.
My biggest sale is 1.5K for a domain that honestly wasn't worth that sum but it's a single shoot and I don't suggest anyone to invest in .it unless there is a strong strategy and many €€€€ to buy some premium domains.
